The Acolyte show will have a female lead, so first time seeing a female Sith in live action.

Bad Batch animated show set after Revenge of the Sith, following the Bad Batch from Clone Wars Season 7. Fennec appears in the trailer.
Aaaahh, cool. I haven't seen season 7 yet but will do very soon. Glad it means more Fennec.

well, with that pace they‘re going (Andor announced 2 years ago and now almost 2 more years wait), we‘ll could expect that whatever Lando series and Acolyte (animated? live-action?) probably in 2024

I am glad the High Republic is getting a series.

My instinct is to be cynical about this much Star Wars content but these almost all sound super fun. Does someone have a list of announced showrunners?

Any indication if we're talking Donald Glover as Lando or?

Gonna try and hash it together:
The Acolyte - Leslye Headland
Lando - Justin Simien
Rangers of the New Republic - Favreau and Filoni
Ahsoka - Favreau and Filoni
The Bad Batch - Jennifer Corbett
Andor - Tony Gilroy

Hedland's show is called The Acolyte about emerging dark side powers in the final days of the High Republic.
I wanted a show like this set in the High Republic. Good to see the dark side get its fair share of the spotlight too. :cwink:

Yeah as long as the quality stays up I"m good with whatever. But this for sure is oversaturation.
But as long as it's good. I don't care much. I just hope even if they're good it doesn't start to feel too samey. I think they've done a good job so far between the Episodes and The Mando feeling different while being in the same universe.

I'm a bit concerned about them making shows that exist mostly to prop up other shows, there's some worrying signs of that in Mandalorian, but it feels very natural to me that a big part of Star Wars future is TV shows. The format and pace suit it so perfectly.
