Why must it be cgi animation?

I prefer traditional 2D hand drawn animation.

And why must they change the name from "The Snow Queen" to "Frozen" just to appeal to boys?

If it is as beautiful as Tangled Im fine with it. After Tangled I could care less if they ever go back to 100% hand drawn.

Because Tangled designs are, like, the WORST possible designs of course.

If it was the 90s, this is pretty much how they would look. They didn't start using artist inspired character designs until Hercules(Gerald Scarfe) and Atlantis(Mike Mignola).

I guess I didn't make my self clear. Disney has a tendency to use what works instead of what's original or new or creative. They pass on new ideas and designs and they pick what has sold before, they've become a corporate brand in everything they do. I was raised to understand that animation is an art form! My grandfather was an animator in the industry for 50 years, he worked in the industry when creativity and art were the driving force of the studios and saw it die when the suits took over. The laughter around the studios went silent. I've also been in the studio system I can attest to this. Animators constantly did caricatures of one another at every studio to have fun, they covered the walls, where are they now?

She looks way too much like Rapunzel! Like Hunter Rider I too was expecting a more mature design. Come on Disney you can do better.

She'll look similar to Rapunzel but they'll probably act completely different, as Disney princesses tend to do. The idea of them looking the same backs up the idea that all of these Disney characters exist in the same world(maybe during different time periods).

With that said, the posters make the characters look cheaply done imo. But I think they'll look a thousand times better in the actual movie. I like how this girl has pigtails, though. Never seen that on a Disney princess.

i agree but cgi is dominating way too much it is why princess and the frog was a breath of fresh air to see
