Ugh, I hate waiting, but you know that this game is 380 some days from ending. so I guess we have time.

I agree...this is getting frustrating. Maybe if we had some type of time-frame it would be easier to bear...

Yeah, It'd be nice to have some sort of secondary countdown or date to look forward to - at this point we're not sure if we've missed something or if we have to continue waiting. Frustrating!

But still looks awesome.

I had sent this out on Tuesday with no response yet.

Patience... patience. The game is just beginning, and it's only been ONE WEEK since anything new has occurred. In my experience with TDK and the Cloverfield viral we can expect large gaps in between updates. Especially considering we have 380 days for this game, don't expect all 380 days to be the constant awesomeness that was the last 3 months of TDK.

NOW SUMMER DONNA!

WHAT!?!?!?! And just why not? I need a daily injection of viral goodness so bad that I've gone and signed up for 2 more other than this one and Res 2.

eh. So I'm impatient. The joys of grasping for straws :P

Anyhow... I noticed a rather large .txt file in my cache after visiting d-9.com, and if you feel like sorting your way through it, there's some interesting things in there. Most of it is stuff you can see on the site, news bulletins mostly, but there is one section (at the bottom, says propaganda) which I haven't seen on the site itself. Otherwise, there doesn't seem to be much to do XD...

Interesting. I want one of those MNU Cricket T-Shirts.

Man, this would have been helpful when I was writing the transcripts of the D-9 news stories for the Wiki :oldrazz:. At least now I can find ones that I might have missed.....

EDIT: All of the "propaganda" items have dates and times for those events... perhaps they will pop up at a specific date? BTW, great find once again, Steph-thm. This file is chock full of street names, coordinates andlinks to all of the audio files used on the site. This stuff might come in handy later.

Sorry, gotta keep this thread active so I don't have to dig...

Has anybody gotten any sort of confirmation emails from this yet?

Yeah, I keep reminding myself to be patient, but TDK spoiled me...

Same here, except more like 42E spolied me on their timely virals. TDK moved along nicely, Res2 is moving along nicely (don't forget, voting results today), but this one is just sitting there like a dead creature washed up on the shores of New York.

Yeah and we have too many virals to follow, but all will be fun. it is just which ones to really put your mind and heart into?

That's true. D-9 and SeekTheSix look like they'll go into next year, while Res2 should wrap up in November with the release of the game. However, that's not counting any new virals that 42E starts up. I'm almost in 42E stalker mode.

Yeah, 42E probably didn't foresee the aftereffects of the TDK viral...namely stalkers...

*Resumes stalking...*

I know part of the allure of a viral is the discovery of it, but I wish they would let us know in advance when they start one.

Non-Americans:

On the registration page, it requires you to type in a US zipcode, even if you tick the Non-US box. Did anyone get around this?

I ran into this problem too, the mathsfromouterspace.com registration let me sign up without any problems, and for the d-9.com registration, I just typed in 5 random numbers. :oldrazz:

yay. update on mnuspreadslies.com
it's a blog with the video of protests from comic con, apparently filmed by sister carrie.

here's the youtube link to the video posted.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EOmNUDRnUYQ

oh and one more thing of interest... I noticed that in the "statistics and data" section of the video on youtube, there's one slightly unusual site linking to the vid... http://d9.triggerla.com/blog/
that link is password protected, but "Trigger LA" is a marketing company... I'm assuming that they're the ones making this viral...
