I have seen them all and I loved all three. I am 100% behind the man doing Halo and I was excited to death when I heard Peter Jackson and WETA were on board...then movie purgatory happened.

Sweet jesus. The guy made one of the greatest Adaptations of all time. That doesn't give him any street cred.

This film definitely had the most WTF trailer I've seen in a long time. I didn't know anything about the film prior to watching it, so when the trailer started, I thought it was some sort of documentary on Africa and then... uh...

I have to say that it looks interesting, but the whole "blurring the face of the alien" thing was really silly. It was clever, I guess, but borderline stupid. Still, I have to say that this movie definitely interests me.

i can tell you guys that if movie turns out to be a hit and actually good, the studios will grab the director up for a franchise of some sort. It could be Halo but if not, I can bet it'll be a comic book movie of some sort, OR something that Peter Jackson will produce or can't direct himself.

And if WB is smart, they should grab him ASAP for Wonder Woman, The Flash, or whatever.

I saw the teaser for this when I saw Wolverine. At first I thought this was gonna be a movie about terrorist until the credits said "they aren't human". Then they showed the insect Alien doing the interview. I was like "dang, i'm seeing that". The lady seating two seats away from me got a little pissed off that it only said "Summer 2009" and not the exact day.

Screw Flash and Wonder Woman. Neil is Sci-Fi through and through and he needs to be directing the Halo trilogy with Jackson and WETA along side.

My thoughts exactly. The strength of the trailer increases tenfold with those crucial last moments. I'm wondering why they decided to change it up, since it creates an entirely different feel of who the "bad guys" are.
