I really dislike that Bluray case. At least with Basterds there a version with a different image on a slip case.


This is a really goofy vid of Tarantino taking questions after the Oscar ceremony. Some of the questions asked by the press corps are really dumb, and QT himself is often quite goofy.

In their defense, some of them are forced to ask insipid questions like that because their bosses demand it. If they ask something too heady and they work for like E! or something, they get blasted by the higher ups.

Because Catholicism is a major religion and a huge organization and the pope stepping down is an historical moment that hasn't happened in 600+ years. You don't have to be catholic to find it interesting or have an opinion on it. That being said, it was an irrelevant stupid question.

Man, that dog scene with Candie and Django was intense. The way those two are feeling each other hot the tension can be cut with a knife. This scene here is why I said Django should have taken out Candie.

Also, there is no way Stephen was the real villain. It was Candie all the way. The no2 is never a bigger villain than the no1

Watched this movie the other day and while I really did enjoy myself I absolutely [blackout]hated that they had to kill of Dr. Schultz. I friggin loved that guy.

I understand the reasoning for it but I was so disappointed. Django's tearful goodbye towards him sort of made it up though. That was a very sweet scene.[/blackout]

Jamie was fantastic. His opening scene where he tells Schultz his name was brilliant acting. When he is watching the dogs tore apart the man his facial expressions were exceptional. Again Waltz had nothing to do in this movie. Leo looked like he was having too much fun to be taken seriously. Same with Jackson even though he was the best in the movie, well maybe a tie between him and jamie

Exactly. I don't understand the comments that the character had nothing to do. A lot of it was more subtle, like his growing frustration and eventual cracking, but even then it comes down to his ability to move so gracefully through the text.

As he himself has put it many times, he likes poetry and in his view QT writes poetry.

Now as to you poor devils? So as I see it, when it comes to the subject of what to do next, you gentlemen have two choices. One: once I'm gone, you could lift that beast off the remaining Speck, then carry him to the nearest town. Which would be at least 37 miles back the way you came. Or Two: You could unshackle yourselves? take that rifle, put a bullet in his head, bury the two of them deep, and then make your way to a more enlightened area of this country. The choice is yours. Oh, and on the off chance there are any astronomy aficionados amongst you, the North Star is that one. Tata.

That last line especially is great.

I love how versatile he is. He would should digital and 3D for Scorsese on Hugo, then go right back to 35mm for Tarantino.
