This seems to have been in the pipes forever, good to see it's finally happening.

I know that we know literally nothing about the plot at this point, but what would be your dream cast for a Tarantino-directed Western?

Samuel L. Jackson
Bruce Willis
Melanie Laurent
Christoph Waltz

Tom Hanks
Giovani Ribisi
Daniel Day Lewis
Timothy Olyphant
Michael Madsen
Ed Harris
Daryl Hannah

ok cheers for the info

Yeah, I suppose, but I just can't imagine him delivering Tarantino dialogue very well, he had enough trouble with those Juggernaught lines in X-Men 3 and those were just one liners mostly. When you watch the deleted scenes there are extended versions of the scenes with more lines, that they obviously cut cause his delivery was real bad.

Well, to be fair... the dialogue in that movie, across the board, was horrible. Marlon Brando couldn't have made that sh** work.

I want me some Julie Dreyfuss! There were a lot of French people in the Old West.

Tarantino+Western= WIN. Really looking forward to this!

I'm used to Tarantino's bizarre titles at this point.

The smiley was used to show my realisation that I'm a moron. I would love that title!

My bad .

I love the title, personally. I hope it sticks.

And I have to say. A Western dealing with slavery and The Underground Railroad is an interesting concept. I wonder if Waltz will be an hero or villain.

I don't care if he calls it "The Hick Movie" I will be there opening day.

I've always been curious to see what a Tarantino sci-fi movie would be like.

Awesome! A real title. Although I don't know how to pronounce that first word.

Yeah I can't wait for the script to leak (which his always does)! I think we're in for a treat.

A little bit of information on the script, and how this won't be a true Django film, but a new take on a film/genre of the same name ala. Basterds: [blackout]
Django is the name of a freed slave who becomes a bounty hunter tutored by another bounty hunter - Waltz - on a take no prisoners quest to rescue his wife from an evil plantation owner.[/blackout]

Where'd you hear that?

With the title being "Unchained" and the previous info and the rumored plot from ways back it makes sense.

Yeah, the slave part I believed and assumed. The bounty hunters part and the evil plantation owner part was what I was curious about.
