Monday Night I had a dream that someone with black hair joined my class in college. For some reason I didn't like this guy one bit. I woke up that morning after the dream and began my day. That day my ex(who I hate) texts me saying a guy in my class wanted my number and she was wondering would it be ok if she gave it to him. So I was saying to myselft how the **** does someone know my ex from class? I find out it's a guy who is rarely in class who has black hair. Then my mom saw my ex with that guy, so I think they are dating because I do know shes has a BF now. Like I said this guy is rarely in the class, but it's weird how some guy in my class might be dating my ex:huh: .

This is not the first time this has happened. I used to email my friend all the time, her computer got ****ed so she had to wait to get a new one. I a had dream that night she emailed me, and the next day I go check my mail and what do you know, I recived an email from her.

My dreams of unicorns mean that Kritish loves the cock.

They better not mean anything or I'm a crazy man.

Well, it'd be better than them meaning that you're a crazy girl.

Wait. Crazy girls are hot. Spread for me, Flexo. :(

In all seriousness, I know that if you dream of being chased, that means that your mind is battling a struggle that you think you can't overcome. If you fly (6 nights ago for me), that means that you are feeling a sense of freedom in your mind or something like that...

Dreams mean nothing, there nothing but random firings inside of our heads.

I had this very dream but a fortnight ago.

True story.

There was also an angry blonde.

Dreams are your subconscious/unconscious calling out. Many things are locked away in your unconscious. Imagine it as an iceberg (Freud's Iceberg Theory) - The tip of the iceberg, usually many times smaller than the portion below the water, is your conscious. Your conscious is the part of your mind that you can tap into. The majority of the iceberg, which lies below the water, is the unconscious (the water being the access barrier). And your unconscious holds many things that the one can not access, and is much larger than the conscious. Proving that dreams hold some merit.

My dreams Seem more Real then when i am awake.....is that a bad thing?? :ninja:

That's Freud's theory, there are many more.

One is that dreams are simply residual neural information that we acquire throughout the day that fires off at night. So the things we dream about may reflex our thoughts/feelings, but are jumbled together randomly.

Another is that dreams are our mind's attempt to continue normal cognition, but since we're asleep, there is no rhyme or reason to our thoughts. So dreams would basically be normal, waking thoughts that do not operate by normal, waking logic.

There's more but I can't think of them all.

That's Hobson's theory, but it has been severely discredited since the 1990s.

SD, his theory runs that

1) random neural images are fired during sleep;

2) the mind is, essentially, "a machine that creates meaning", and dreams form from the organ's attempt to make sense of randomly fired information without its waking dominant function, thus the "chaotic order" of dreams

So both your mentionings come from Hobson, or so I guessed.

I once dreamt that Jenna Elfman showed up to my birthday party, and we got mad drunk.
I wish I had recurring dreams

Dreams are supposed to be tellin you somethin about yourself :o
