Do dreams mean something?

I had a dream one night that there was almost an entire town living inside this huge silver sphere thing with water all around it (like it was in the middle of the ocean).

Then like, 6 months later Hurricane Katrina happend and a crap load of people were living inside of the silver dome while New Orleans was flooded. I thought it was pretty creepy.

I had a simillar dream that involved the world trade centre collapse months before it happend, i was talking to my friend about going to new york but then i had a vivid dream in black and white of construction workers building a new york sky scraper, then suddenly there was this huge hole in the ground square shaped and alot of people were crying.

According to Freud, every dream is an unfulfilled wish.

That makes no sense. I usually have dreams that are depressing and ****ty. Hell I even get rejected by women in my dreams. Even women I know have dreams where they reject me.

See this one night me and my friend each had a dream about the other.
In my dream me and her were talking in our school cafe. For some odd reason we had a dinosaur display at the school. As we were talking this GIANT guy with green spike hair walks in and taps her on the shoulder and says, "We have to go...Do you like Chinese food? I like it." Then she said "I like Pizza..." To which he replied, "Uh...Me too." Then they left, on what I was assuming was a date. And it left me feeling ****ty.

Her dream was about her being at a bar where she was hitting on every guy in site. She even kissed this guy at the bar. Then she walks out to the porch where I'm sitting. Some odd reason there is a little kid running around me (when ever she dreams about me for some reason I have a baby or little kid with me). She comes over and sits with me at my table, and the kid finally stops. Places his hand on my shoulder. And says "Give up on her Cap. She aint worth it."

We seem to dream about each other at the very same time a lot. This wasn't the first time we have dreamt about each other on the same night.

Well that would make sense in some cases.

I remember having a dream that I was dancing with Sofia Vergara. I do find Sofia Vergara very attractive but I have thought more about meeting her than dancing with her.
