Comics Do u support Storm n BP's marriage??

I would.hard to except when there wasn't anything before that showed this could happen. When it happened all of a sudden, I was just shaking my head. But whatever..Since the X-books are doing great...I don't mind.....so whatever

You should have a "can't be bothered to care" option.

But since I'd rather have Storm be in the team, I suppose I'd fall in the 'no' category...

Yes, I got over it.

No I dont support it.

Marvel is just trying to take the 2 most powerful Black character and put them together.

Storm should eventually end up with Forge.

I got over it. I just don't like Hudlin that much. Too much political and social agenda going on in his mind.

But it is better than hanging around with the X-Men though. Finally her character is getting some more "me" time than being stuck behind Scott and uh...who's that red head again? Oh yeah, Jean.

I just don't like how it seems like it suddenly came out of nowhere.

Btw, your avvy, was that b4 she got shot?

Well, ppl always come back from death.. :csad: So maybe BP will come abck 2. :D I dont want storm's loevr 2 die, cuz she'd still keep loving him. I just want her 2 realise that BP is not the guy 4 her!! :o

Okay.

Then have him cheat on her. Usually destroys a relationship faster than the whole 'falling out of love' thingy. :D

I agree!! Let BP fall in luv wid another girl :cwink: and storm wid another boy....????? :oldrazz:

BTW, is there anyway we can protest??

Ok then, thanx!! :woot: I just hope Marvel regain its senses soon and brings storm back!!

Well, considering I only read Astonishing and there's no way they'd bring her back in that comic...

Still hope they'll do something about it for all Storm fans, eh. That, and I just never got into the "new generation" that much. Old-timers roxxor. :D

Oh, and I wouldn't hold my breath for the "soon" part.

I mean, Wolverine origins anyone? I know he's a cash cow, but god... *shudders*

well, old times do rock!! :wow:

No. I want Storm back with the X-Men. It makes no sense for her to have gone off with BP and sit on the sidelines while all heck is breaking out for mutantkind.

Hudlin is a horrible writer. He can't write Storm at all, and it seems to me like he wants to make BP more powerful by showing how he can dominate Ororo.

Hopefully Black Panther dies a very painful death ASAP and Storm can be back with the X-Men were she belongs.
How bout BP becomes posessed by some Wakanda demon,
Storm comes back to the X-Mansion seeking help,
Then her and Rogue can cry about BP & Gambit,
Then her and Rogue have to fight their two ex-lovers
because they've came back for revenge :woot: J/K

I do want her back with the X-Men though :csad:
Cyclops is whooped by Emma and has lost his leading skills :ninja:

Seeing Black Panther's new pet Storm is an embarrassment.

This move has not benefited her in the least bit. Her last appearance written by Claremont did more than what Hudless has done.

After the disastrous mini, then the crappy development for the movie, now this wedding blitz, 06 is the worse year ever for the Storm.

While the actual events were a bit contrived, I find the union to be quite good. And while Hudlin's version of Storm is a bit dodgey, perhaps in time he will find a better voice for her and other writers are certain to take over at some point. I mean, have you all seen Earth X? Storm and T'Challa ROCK as leaders of a united Africa. And Hudlin's House of M Storm, ruler of Kenya, was very good. Storm's role in the X-men under almost any writer other than Claremont is the *****y exotic powerhouse. Very few people can write the character and really sell all her disparate points without it seeming to be an unrelateable caricature. And while the X-Men do save the world every once and again, I like Storm's new role as a political, media figurehead. With her abilities, she shouldn't be pigeoned-holed into just helping mutants. I loved her trek back to Africa post House of M, taking out slave traders, making oasises in the desert and all that. She can save Africa, and the world at large, especially now with her political status. I do hope Hudlin acknowledges her leadership abilities, and true nature of her powers(those lines about not using her powers in space and underwater really got to me), but ultimately, this year has been the most productive and interesting arc Storm has had in years on the X-men (at least since X-treme fizzled out). I'm interested to see where it goes from here.
