Seriously not only is Jackpot, either MJ, or someone impersonating MJ, she's someone/Mary Jane impersonating Mary Jane, and Felicia Hardy/Black Cat. A sexy vixen superheroine? No, Felicia was just filling a character archetype. Being "sexy vixen superheroine" isn't something that the Black Cat defines, it's a definition that she fits into, like Jackpot. Though, honestly, I really don't feel like Jackpot is anything like Black Cat.

Morlun/Spider-totem was exploited as well. I loved it when they toyed with the idea of where peters powers really came from. but once they forced it....yeah I didn't like it so much, magic totally goes against the character.

I know you can't please everyone...but a good writer doesn't over expose stuff. sheesh.

Yeah, why is Mary Jane even in the comic anymore? Jackpot sounds really lame. Just get rid of her and don't bring her back, they do everything so bad by the time they get to whatever they wanted to do anyway, it makes it worse. Man, I was sick of hearing about how they thought Spider-man should be not married over two years ago. They've made it clear nothing is ever going to happen anymore. But could they atleast follow through with one idea and not just drag things on for two years?

Robert Carr is Spider-Man 2's version of John Jameson, except he's an actor instead of an astronaut.
And Mr. Negative, despite his visual style, is no better or worse than Spectacular Spider-Man's version of Tombstone.

My bad. let me clarify a bit buddy.
I didn't mean any of them were necessarily bad. I kind of like Vin too. its just that we've seen this all before....they made a big deal out of Mj taking pete away from his supporting cast. when the idea of him being a teacher was what did it. and now that mj is gone they've totally revamped his supporting cast...the same one they've complained about not being able to use.

Hey guys, I just got issue 566 of ASM and I honestly think that the whole Kraven's First Hunt is really great. At first I thought, this is sort of crap but then when Kraven thought Vin Gonzales in SpiderMan and how Pete uses the DD. when I saw the pics I thought that DD was going to partner-up and that the pic of the "Web-Head withought fear" thing was just a joke but it turned out great. I dont know what happens to Pete but I do know that he gets knocked out cold and I cant wait for the other issue 567. sorry I couldnt provide with a pic.

You're spot on here. I've been saying this for a while too. While BND has enabled far more interaction with supporting characters, they are just modern day versions of existing or old spidey cast members. Its the same with the stories, they are just re-hashs of old plots and story lines with modern day changes - probably partially because the new characters are re-hashs too.

While I wasn't a fan of the John Byrne re-boot, at least he gave Peter a realistic job for someone with his education, he also tried to intoduce brand new characters at his new place of work(Unfortunately after a one-page intro, they were all ignored).

Flash became some what of a best friend to Peter. bad writing recently restored the immature flash.

and lets not forget the lame love triangle between Flash, Felicia hardy and Peter (AFTER HE WAS MARRIED!)
