Reports are coming in that a deal might be reached before the end of this month. If that does happen, do you bring Jackman back as Wolverine? I think Fiege would at least reach out to him to see if he's open to it. I remember a few years back he was very vocal about bringing Wolverine into the Avengers. This might entice him to come back. I think Fiege would look into adding Wolverine in to Avengers 4 in a role similar to the one Spidey got in CW.

Edit: Options got duplicated, if a mod would fix it to No.

If there was a longer term future for Jackman in the MCU I think there’d be no doubt. But if they want to cast a new Wolverine any time soon then they might avoid it on those grounds. I think it would be good to see Jackman get a cameo anyway even if not as Wolverine as an Easter egg and acknowledgment of all he’s done.

I know one thing, I damn sure want his real costume included. If they can make a talking Racoon work, they can make yellow spandex work.

You got it right the first time

There shouldn’t be a No option

Where is the no option?

If Spider-Man, Batman, Superman, War Machine, Daredevil, Mr. Fantastic, Angel, the Thing, Psylocke, Elektra, Human Torch, the Punisher, Jubilee, Hulk, Emma Frost, Sabretooth and Invisible Woman were recast so can the Wolverine.

Also, Hugh didn't want to do the role anymore, he's also too tall and good looking for the role of the Wolverine.

If Hugh wants back in, that’s all I need to hear.

But I would understand if feige preferred to get someone new.

jackman isn't coming back.x-men is being rebooted once fox films no longer exsist and feige has x-men.you don't reboot and bring star of series you now say never happened to play same role.same thing with entire cast of x-men.
they are all gone.

Recast. Logan is too perfect of a send-off.

rather or not it was perfect send-off is ilrelvent.jackman isn't returning as wolverine in mcu since every x-men from x-men to dark phoenix is about to be ilrelvent.you don't reboot and brinb back star of series.

Logan was as great a send off anyone could imagine, but I think he’d come back for this. If they’d have him, of course.

Jackman has said before that his son has been a big reason why he keeps coming back to Wolverine. He says his son loves seeing him as a superhero and is a big comic book fan. I think the thought of his dad being an Avenger might spark him to push his dad to return. Fiege and what direction he wants for the X-Men is the key here though, if he wants Jackman then I think he will likely get him.

I just don't see the MCU making an exception for Hugh. Its not like MCU needs him in the first place. The only way I see him inna MCU film is for another role but not as the Wolverine again.

I'm completely in favor of keeping the current X-Men cast. The only ones I feel don't get their character are Nicholas Hoult and Jennifer Lawrence. And even with Marvel Studios, their casting isn't perfect. I feel like Michael Douglass isn't volatile enough to be Hank Pym.

No, No, No. The rest of the cast MUST go. You could make an exception for Jackman or Reynolds but the rest have to go. Don't need Fox-Men in the MCU.

We'll have to see this all play out, but if they wanted to keep the original cast, Ant-Man and the Wasp is introducing us to the multiverse if reports are to be believed. It is possible that something could happen, possibly with the reality stone or something, that merges the 2 universes. Sort of like Crisis on Infinite Earths for DC. We could end up with maybe a loose adaptation of Avengers vs X-Men.

Nope. Different universe, different Wolverine.

What do you have against McAvoy, Fassbender, Sheridan, etc? And we never even really got to see the NM cast yet nor Channing Tatum's Gambit.

they are all going to go once sale is finalzed.the 2018 films will be released but that will be it and then x-men will be rebooted.channing tatum probaly never gets to play gambit now.

there is going to be no exception for anyone.everything of x-men cinematic universe is dead with dark phoenix as final chapter now.

this is what happens when you reboot.this isn't like dofp or terminator or even
star trek where they keep some connection.it all dead and gone forever with sale and feige reboot.

but many of original avengers may be done after avengers 4.and why would x-men fans be excited for them to be villains in film?

If they're going with adult X-Men then the current cast would have to go anyway, and Xavier and Magneto would have to be older.

But regardless, as psylockolossus said, MCU X-Men will have to be recasts, just like Spider-Man, Hulk, Elektra, Daredevil, Punisher, etc.

As much as I'd like to see it, no. Logan was a great send off and having him pop up in the MCU as Wolverine would confuse people. It would also put them in a tough spot if they wanted to use Wolverine in the future

Nobody needs to be a villain per se. It can just be a classic hero misunderstanding type deal.

As much as I love Jackman not just in the role, but as an actor, I think it's time to move on and get a younger wolverine. If this was 5 years ago, you betcha!
