If wolverine was recast in the future who would you like to play the part

There's times in DEXTER when Michael C. Hall pulls a Wolverine look, and across the eyes he's quite similar.

bonus is that he is 5'10' much shorter than hugh, making it easier to cast an actor for his enemies that are suppose to be bigger than wolverine.

A pumped up Gary Oldman. Dude can play good guys and bad guys no sweat. I'm guessing he could do a little bit of both at the same time. Plus he dissappears into any role he is given. Probably one of the best actors alive. So what if he played Gordon!

Well hopefully it would be someone not over 6 feet. someone 5`8 would be nice, not lean but more..stocky like. oh I dont know.. have the guy act like Wolverine should be not like how Fox has him right now.

In a perfect world to me Marvel would get the rights back and do a semi-combination of regular x-men and Ultimate (the attitude and such).

So someone who could pull that off. ;)

Hugh is a great Wolverine and will always kind of "be" Wolverine. But yeah hes tall as **** and it hurts when trying to make him look stocky. in the game they played with his build to make him stockier. when you are tall, you have to work that much more to fill out your back or shoulders that give that "wide" effect.

one of the things i loved about wolverine was that he was like a short evil little demon coming at you. him saying and doing what he does, with a tall frame, just makes him feel jockish. when hes much smaller than the other guy, he feels more like the underdog.

Thomas Jane in that Pic is Wolverine!!!!

And the Guy from Riddick and Con Air is Sabertooth!!!

Now all we need to do is Get rid of Rothman and get a good director and Make Origins 2

if it was done in the 70s clint eastwood all the way

I wouldn't mind seeing Dallas Roberts (3:10 to Yuma) get the role

He's 5'10 for those of you playing at home

Eastwood would have been the perfect Wolverine. It's interesting, a lot of people made the comparison that Jackman was quite Clint-like in looks. Maybe a bit, but Clint has that grittiness that just defines Wolverine.

"Ya gott ask yourself bub, am I gonna pop one claw or all three...each sharp enough to shear your head clean off...so ya gotta ask yourself...do you feel lucky?? Well, do ya....bub???"

I want Fred Savage to play Wolverine. He needs the work

The guy from Law and Order SVU Stabler he's been Oz too that guy is perfect. I like Jackman but that was miscasting too me. The only time I saw wolverine was in the opening scene with him in the cage fight in X1

That's it - Hugh looks like a prettied up version of Clint... Logan shouldn't. Jackman as Wolverine looks like he's pretending to be tough, instead of just being.

Christopher Meloni.

I remember people wanted Meloni to play the Punisher. I didn't see him as good for Punny or for Wolverine. He is a good actor though.

I had always thought Michael Wincott would be perfect as Wolverine but he is 50 years old now. He was in Alien Ressurection, The Crow, Robin Hood: Prince of Thieves, Born on the Fourth of July, and Dead Man are his top films. He is shorter than Hugh at about 5'9 and he has the raspy voice like the cartoon Wolverine had. He's kind of scary looking and usually plays a mean tough basterd.

He's not too pretty like Hugh either but these are from 12 years ago so he looks older more like Wolverine but a little too old.

I also wish to agree with the casting of Roberts

if they ever do recast Wolverine in a future Xmen/solo movie ( and I really hope they do ).......I want them to find a SHORT actor.....who looks and can act like a savage bad-a**.

The guy doesn't have to be exactly 5'3" ( although that would be nice....lol ).....but he really can't be taller than....say......5'8" or 5'9".

Plus, he needs to look tough, wild, and rugged......not pretty boy......
