Be it a matter of beating traffic, or maybe your team is so far ahead that their win is a foregone conclusion.or whatever else.

Personally, I don't. Mainly because I've spent all this cash to be here, and I'm staying for the whole thing.

I forget the last time I went to see a sports game in person.

But when I'm watching on TV and my team is playing like ****, I'm not going to keep watching. I change the channel and find something else to watch.

If I was in person, I'd leave

Hell no, I am usually one of the last to leave.

Now I have done that before, but in person..I don't leave. Win or lose.

Never - no matter what side of the scoreboard my team is on. I can understand why people would want to leave games early, be it because their team is losing, traffic in the area is horiffic, ok, I get that, but I'm always there until the final buzzer sounds. I wish more "fans" were the same. I can't tell you how many times I've been to a basketball or football game in which the hometeam is WINNING and nearly 75% of the venue is empty with nearly a full quarter left to go. Egh.

It all depends on how much interest or money I've invested in the game. If it were a pro football or baseball game, I'm definitely sticking around because I would've probably spent good money to see that game.

High school games and whatnot, I'm getting out of there early.

After you finish eating, of course.

Only if I am with a group of none true fans.

I have tried to argue staying every last play of a UCF - Louisiana Monroe game I attended with free tickets.

Oh yeah, that's a given. Cause those High school football game hot dogs are delicious. I usually eat 3 or 4...

And I will leave a game early if its a blowout. If it's close I'll stay. Then again I havent paid money out of my own pocket to go to a sporting event in quite some time. I get freebies from work, clients friends, etc.

I only leaves games early if I have been ejected by security.

[BLACKOUT]And that has not happened yet.[/BLACKOUT]

I usually leave about an hour after the game cause I'm usually not in a rush to get back home and be bored.....There usually is no traffic by that time as well....

I don't leave games earlier, if my team is ahead I enjoy it. If they are losing, I always believe they can come back.

The only exception I'd make, is my Yankees got beat 22-4 yesterday. I don't think my brain or heart could take being down 16-2 in the second inning. There just wasn't good baseball being played by us, so at that point the game becomes torture.

If the game isn't watchable, I am outs.

leaving early isn't as bad as the people that are constantly walking around during games.....sit in your ****ing seat for pete's sake

I've left Phillies game when it's gotten to like 10-2 or something.....Eagles same thing.....if we're up by 20 or down by 20 I'll probably hit the exits earlier then usual.

Exactly the same sanswer for me. Exactly.

I remember i was watching a Phillies game last season vs. the Mets and New york was up 7-0 at the top of the fifth. So I said "**** it, if the Phillies don't get a rally this inning i'm turning this **** off.
In the bottom of that inning Rollins and Howard both hit 2-run homers so i kept watching.

I only go to baseball games. Basketball is a snooze-fest until the 4th quarter, can't get into hockey, and I don't have enough interest in football to freeze my ass off at a game.

If I'm at a Met game and it's a blowout, I will leave. If it's close I stay. When I go to other stadiums though, I stay the entire game since I don't go to them often.

I have never left any game early for any reason.

Nope never left a game earlier. I have been to a few that were decided in the last seconds to minutes.

Dodger fans would post in this thread. But right as they're about to submit their post they would leave and forget about it.
