What Video Games Would You Like to See Become Movies?

Silent Hill has been the only good video game film. Hitman wasn't the worst film in the world, however, it wasn't how I imagined Hitman being when it comes to the source material and the world that the character is in.

Hitman, in my opinion, should be a film that has some visuals/atmosphere like Casino Royale andThe Bourne films. So as I said, Silent Hill remains the only good video game film as far as I'm concerned.

*ahem*

I already said Advent Children was good, but I'd love to see an ACTUAL adaptation of the game Final Fantasy VII and not the aftermath involving the story and the characters. Just imagine the full scale of the emotional epic aspect that is Final Fantasy VII in a live action format.

I'd only see it if it were done right and knowing Hollywood they'd bastardize the material and ruin a great concept.

yes . all of those , done respectfully. maybe grand theft auto as well.

Oh darn! You know what other video game adaption they should make?

Grand Theft Auto: Although the stories for each of these video games are based off of other films from the past generation, I think that this would make a pretty darn good action flick. Car chases, gun fights, fist fights, drive-by shootings, shooting the hell out of cars, etc. The list goes on and on for what kind of action you could see in a film like this. But before they get started, they should focus on the character's development to allow the audience to follow him through the events that happen during the film so they can care about the character while at the same time having an enjoyable movie experience. I'd say to start with Grand Theft Auto: Vice City and then continue on with that timeline on to San Andreas and finally to the events of Grand Theft Auto III; instead of following it in the way that the games took it relating to their release.

I think that they're going to finally get it right with this CGI version called Resident Evil: Degeneration:

I still love the first Mortal Kombat. can't be better, imo.
it's the second that was a garbage.
Certainly was a steamy pile of garbage:cmad:
Anyhow, another game I'd like to see become a movie is Bioshock. Great game, great story, great atmosphere, what could go wrong?
