Do you open your MM Dark Knight figures?

I still have my Joker and Batman in the packaging, should I open?

I mean, I do open mine. But I always buy 2 of the ones I really want...one to open and one to keep MOC. It's not like I am planning on re-selling them sometime down the road. It's just a thing I do. (must...have...2 of everything!) But that can be kinda expensive. I do the same with Star Wars toys...that's probably why I have to work 2 jobs But if you are ever planning on selling them or something, leave them as is. Or you could always see if someone is selling loose figures on Ebay or something. Then you could keep yours the way they are.

I've sern them opened and on display before and they look awesome, so I have no idea what to do.

I had to keep my slimey fingers and open my Joker, then finaly realize somebody ripped up the Joker card

I only have a MM TDK Bats in the packaging

usually when i buy a figure, it stays in it's box. but i've been buying one to open and one to keep in the box with the MMs.

Really, it depends on your preference. Keeping every figure on the card is usually the option for toy collectors, because it's what they do. Sometimes they resell figures down the road, and they can get the most out of an unopened, mint figure. If you have an open wall that you can tack the figures up for display on the card, that's cool. However, leaving them on the card takes up a lot more room.

Some people prefer to have a display shelf where they can pose the figure. If you like that, take them out and pose them.

Either way, these will never be incredibly rare or valuable unopened (so I wouldn't not open it for that reason), as enough will be made to keep the value low.

Is it true though that every time you open these toys the value is gone. How do you display your figures so they won't get all dusty too?

Well I opened one of my Jokers, my dark knight batman, and I left in the package my wave 2 joker, scarecrow, BB batman, and gotham city thug

Dang I wish I knew what to do! They look so friggin sick but I just think I might be making a mistake opening them.

What do you buy them for? Investment? Bad choice. In the end they are just a TOY and should be enjoyed. OPEN THEM!t: What would the regret be? IF you really like them are you really gonna sell them! Heck no! I opened a Dark Knight Batman, and 2 Jokers. And on one of the Jokers, I even cut the coat off off since I ammaking a custom interrogation scene Joker!

I open them. I open every figure I get. Couple reasons why -

- Space. The packages take up too much room. You can line up 20 open figures on a shelf. If you keep them packaged, you can't even fit half that amount.

-They look better. Some packages are nicely designed, but nothing beats seeing the figure in it's natural state. You can pose it however you like, you can look at it in greater detail, etc. Plus, sometimes the way the figure itself is posed in the packaging is ridiculous and unflattering. The MM Joker's pose is a perfect example - he looks like he's dancing or something! Take him out, lift that knife (or even better, swap it out for a gun like I did!), and lower his head to make him look scary and dangerous.

-Why not? I'm a Batman fan. Having Batman stuff makes me happy. I have NO INTENTION of ever selling any of my collection. So why should I care about it's "value"? It's irrelevant to me.

i refuse to open my fear toxin batman. he'll remain MOC. i also have a second joker that's MOC at the moment. i may open him for a custom at some point, but i'm not sure.

I opened Joker, Scarecrow and Fear Toxin Batman which are doubles, BB Batman, TDK Batman and a Thug, the others are all MOC

I have a Batman Begins Batman open. I have a TDK Batman open but my cousin (who is 31) fudgin' broke the hand off by twisting it too much. I have the rest of my figures in the case and I'm tempted to open my Joker. I just don't play with toys. I just want to touch it!!
