This. The studio HATED the Vulture for Spider-Man 3 and even 4 because the villain was "too old". Using the Vulturess makes sense in a way that Raimi wanted to use the villain and still please the studio as that's what he did with Spider-Man 3, right? He was trying to please the studio. But, too many script treatments made him leave. I still say the Vulturess would've been in the film.

I think the reason the studio was too fond of having Vulture, is because he was gonna be the only villain and they didn't think he was popular enough to be the sole villain.(which they're actually correct about) If Raimi was gonna have another villain(like Electro), I don't think they would have had a problem. So I don't think they hated the idea of Vulture in Spider-man 3. It was that symbiote fanatics kept crying for Venom, so they pressured Raimi into changing his story just to put in a character that had no right being in the movie.

This is why I partly blame people who complained about Spider-man 3 having "too many villains." Because it looked like Raimi was actually listening to that silly complaint. It baffles me how people think that just simply having multiple villains caused this movie's downfall(or any other failed superhero movie). Batman & Robin still would have been crap even if Mr Freeze were the sole villain.

I like that the movie went with the more classic appearance by removing his snout. I love how People wanted to complain about that . But turning Felicia Hardy who is the Black Cat into a character named the Vultress is acceptable. I am glad that Rami saw this and decided to walk away .

I was simply stating that I find it funny how I have encountered some people (no one here) who we're open to the idea that having Felicia Hardy as the Vultress,and yet at the same time hated "The Amazing Spider-Man" because the Lizard Resembled his classic look by not having the snout. . I didn't make myself clear and that is my fault. lol

But I have met some people who were open to the idea and have had discussions/debates on it . Some where open to the idea, a Majority weren't .
Just because you haven't met anyone who did like the idea doesn't mean they don't exist. I never said it was anyone from this thread. I think I should have been more clear on my part and that is my fault.


PS. Sooooo glad that there wasn't a vultress.
