I hope Dan sticks around until 2015 or even later if he is still going strong. To me he did for Spidey what Geoff Johns did for Green Lantern. Peter Parker won't be gone forever, enjoy it while it lasts!

Yup, the LEGO games are a blast and kinda addicting and Superior is fantastic! I'm two or three issues behind though as my subscription doesn't get sent to my college campus...but definitely my favorite comic right now. Its the only one I'm buying too!

Once the next movie rolls up, Peter's going to be back in some capacity--either ousting Doc Ock or in his own separate continuity. Besides, you know how "permanent" things are in comic books...

Speaking of the next movie, anyone see that behind-the-scenes picture on the Hype's front page with the big "Sinister 6" on the wall?

Marvel realised that New 52 is outselling most/if not all their books so it has been rumoured that they are destroying the ultimate universe and rebooting 616 in a fashion of new 52.

Not for rebooting 616 but the miles morales/ amazing coming back.

Seriously the stories in Superior have been really exciting and well written.

Seriously the stories in Superior have been really exciting and well written.

Also Otto being very proactive and technologically savvy in his approach to fighting crime was always an element that I wanted Peter Parker to have, and it always annoyed me that Ben Reilly was the only one who ever really tried to evolve his approach or technology.

With "Secret Wars" taking place this year and we get multiple worlds and multiple versions of characters meeting/fighting/whatever, I wonder what that means for ol' Doc Ock. Is he going to come back from the dead during "Secret Wars", or will he get replaced by an alternate reality version of Ock? Or maybe the Superior Spider-Man version of Ock somehow stays/co-exists with (a, or the original 616) Peter Parker's Spider-Man? I'm not a fan of the Superior Spidey take on Ock, but I'm sure he'll be a part of "Secret Wars" in some way, shape or form. At least, I hope he will. Doc Ock is too awesome to stay dead for long. Now where are those True Believer magic ninjas to resurrect Ock when we need them?

It's great to see this thread bumped. Ock will inevitably be back. I predict he'll transfer his consciousness into a new stronger body. One that won't be vulnerable any more to Spidey's blows or any of the other short comings his original body had. It will be really interesting because Ock now knows everything about Peter. Like everything. He's seen all of his memories. He's literally been inside Peter's head.
