Documentary On Blacks & Race Stuns Audiences

These threads where everyone's talking about a video make me feel Morgy. :csad:

Idk if it's so much that the black children have low self-esteem of themselves, but the fact that almost everywhere you go, when you see a baby...it's white. I mean I can't even remember the last time I saw a non-white baby for a diaper advertisement. I'd have probably chosen the white baby too, you're just used to it more, so it's more comfortable going with that.

I wonder what would happen if this test were given to children from a less white-dominated society.

Too me, in this day and age, this is more of an example of majority perception and neglect of minority view than any intentional racism.

Edit... haha Crooklyn beat me to it.

The "which one is bad" question was sorta shocking, though.

Yeah, maybe. I don't know, I don't really think the kid even knew what the question meant. If his preferred choice was the white baby, obviously he's not going to pick that if asked "what is bad".

White babies taste better done on a rotisserie.

If that were me i'd be like "***** where da GI Joes at?! Whatcha doin stickin this **** on me. I ain't no girly boy! get that **** off my face *****."

when I was 6.

That's a good point and it is probably true to an extent. Mere exposure to a certain object can make you prefer it.

Still, not an encouraging sign.

Kids are racists...
So does this mean we'll never get a Lucius Fox action figure?

When I was a kid, I played with Hot Wheels and Matchbox cars.

Dolls were for girls

What are you saying little girls are racists?

I highly doubt that dumb little ****s, i mean kids, know anything at all about racism.

Kids are smarter than you think.
Anyway... I wasn't being serious.

But it's more than that, dude. Much more than "what they see more of". though some of that is a factor. Did you not hear when she asked the girl, "which on is the bad doll?" And the kid picked the black one?

Did you see the look on the last kid's face when she finally asked, "Which doll looks like you"?

Yes, the kids will be traumatized for life because of a plastic doll they played with
