The kids aren't thinking about racism at that age. When I was that age I had friends who where whatever skin tone. No one gave a damn about skin color, except for one kid who repeated what his dad said about playing "with the blacks and jews". We all laughed at him since he was missing out on a game of kickball, transformers, g.i. joe, climbing trees, and playing chicken with the neighbor's big dog by seeing how long we could stay in the backyard before we cried for mom.

I wonder how this test would go with white kids... sometimes white kids are more socially aware of racism at an early age than black kids. If only for the fact that they got to be taught not to stare at the grocery store and things like that.

The kids aren't thinking about racism at that age. When I was that age I had friends who where whatever skin tone. It´s not that simple. A doll is a representation of a human being. It´s not car keys. The little girl called the black doll the bad doll, then she recognized the doll looked like her. Who are 90% of the movie stars, of the heroes in the movies and TV shows, of the people they see on TV? White people.
