Does Ando have a secret mission of his own?

I think Ando actually works for Hiro's father in a more secret way then just as a cubicle jockey at his company, I think Ando might be actually looking over Hiro for his father. Maybe even Ando has some powers of his own, where he can control Hiro's powers. I first thought about it when Hiro stopped that bullet, but last night when Ando showed up, somehow as a security guard at a casino, the very casino Linderman owns, and was the first there, etc.....
Plus, after we found out Hiro's father is part of the big picture, and apparently a major player in the whole thing, he would probably know Hiro has some abilities, and much like HRG, probably does not want Hiro getting caught by the agency, so he probably hired, or maybe even trained Ando, to look after him.
The past few times his powers have worked, Ando was there and it was a life and death situation. Maybe Hiro's dad told him to keep his son's powers in check.
Just a theory, but I would not be surprised if something like this is true.

While I agree it's possible that he may be workin for Hiro's father I don't think he has powers of his own. Hiro's powers have been screwey since he tried to save Charlie and if Ando is there for Hiro's protection I wouldn't think he would want Hiro to go and steal some sword with the potential of being caught by a person who is more likely to kill you than turn you in.

Besides I will be very disappointed in this show if everybody turned out to have powers except for HRG. They need some normal support characters in it and Ando fits that bill.

another thing when the bus arrived and hiro got on it without ando, where exactly were hiro and ando when the bus came? i would not be able to make any sense of how ando just followed hiro if the bus stopped miles from vegas

Well Linderman we've only just met so I'll wait to learn a little more about him to determine whether he has powers or not.

I agree with this idea man. I found Ando popping up like that in the security guard outfit a little odd. And just when he said, "I followed you" I started to suspect that maybe theres more to Ando.

I agree that there is something going on with Ando. Not only did he manage to follow Hiro easily, he was also able to get a job as a security guard that fast? Or what? He stole a uniform? It was all just a bit too convenient without some kind of explanation. It couldn't just happen all on its own.

Unfortunatley I think that ando's rescue was just a another case of bad writing on heroes. Casino's are very strict when it comes to hiring personal and I cant imagine them hiring a a guy with no papers and no experience in that line of work.

Okay... here's the thing... I don't think it WAS Hiro that stopped the bullet!!! That wasn't time reversal... if you taped it, watch it again... the bullet is forced back up the gun and knocks that chick backwards!!! I think that Ando may be a telekinetic! Wether he knows it or not remains to be seen! Remember when Peter stopped the taser in the same epiosde, and his teacher asked him which one of his freaky friends was a telekinetic??? Didn't Peter come across both Hiro and Ando in Isaac's studio???

And on an unreleated topic... I don't know why it took me so long to notice, what with Jeph Loeb working on the series... I'm pretty sure all of Isaac's art is done by Jeph Loeb's long-time partner, Tim Sale!!!

Once you realize the art is by Sale, it becomes quite obvious to anyone familiar with his work. I felt rather stupid myself when I hadn't realized that on my own. I love Sales's work.

As far as stopping the bullet goes, I suspect Ando had a hand in it mainly becuase Hiro had his eyes closed and it was ANDO who says, "I don't want to die!" I suspect Ando may have helped or done something on his own without realizing it.

But, as far as we know, Hiro can anly stop time, and teleport in TimeSpace! That's NOT what happened with the bullet! Even if Hiro reversed time, the bullet simply would have went back up the barrel of the gun and that lady woulda just got up and walked away backward... also NOT what happened! Plus, those police or Federal agents wouldn't have been there to arrest her as soon as she was knocked down! I say someone ELSE did it, and the logical choice seems to be Ando... wether or not he even KNOWS that he did it remains to be seen!
