I bought the Orange Box on Steam, and I already had Half Life 2 and Half Life 2: Episode One on my account, which means I have 1 "gift" for each of those games. If you want either, or both, (for PC btw), give me your Steam ID and tell me whether you want either or both.

Yeah. On your new PC, you'll just download the Steam client, login, and pick which of your games you want to start downloading. I've moved my Steam account and all my games between 3 different computers since 2004.

You can buy Every iD Software game ever made, a $213.90 value according to Steam, for $69.95, which is one of the best deals I've ever seen, even better than the orange box. Vampire The Masquerade: Bloodlines is on Steam, and I have to recommend that to anyone that likes Deus Ex, or RPGs in general. Thief III is there, that's a really good game, but I think you probably already played it. There's a minorly updated Geometry Wars for $4. All the Sam & Max episodes are there (episode 4 is totally free), and those are all great if you like adventure games (think Grim Fandango, if you ever got around to playing that). I don't know, there's a ton of games available, just look around.

And no, they don't have the old Thief games yet, unfortunately. I don't even know who holds the publishing rights to those anymore.
