Does anyone know whats going on with Squadron Supreme?

What kid who grew up in the '80s doesn't love Michael Jackson? Sure, he's a creepy pedophile now, but back then he was the master of all he surveyed.

Word. But, pedophelia aside, his music's not good these days. :(

That's the sad part, yeah.

And let me clarify that I did not say that Jackson's old music is bad. It'll always the best. I'm saying his new music is bad. And yeah...I guess that's pretty sad.

That fight certainly didn't seem like the toughest fight Superman's ever fought. That line really just came off as a "sorry Thor fans, here's something to kinda-sorta-almost-okay-not-really-at-all appease you" sort of thing.

Hey Corp, I know this isn't a true Thor vs. Supes fight but Thor finally whooped Hype's arse in Ultimate Power #7 and it SEEMS like that's the way it would go down. I'm happy. :O

I don't know, I'm pretty sure Hyperion could eat Ultimate Thor for breakfast.

Yeah, honestly............I think he can to. :( Ultimate Thor just doesn't seem that powerful. 616 on the other hand..............I think would hand Hype his arse on a platter. :o

How did Spidey do?

He's doing all right. They seem to have taken a different avenue with the younger Ultimate version of Peter Parker. He really hasn't been in much of the action, minus the early issues of the miniseries, but Spidey has mainly just been hanging back on the Hellicarrier with Fury and using that scientific brain of his, which is rare in both universes. :oldrazz:

But I was wondering the same thing about the Squadron Supreme series as well. I knew Gary Frank was going to be gone from the art duties but I didn't expect them to NOT release the book for like six to seven months or something like that.

Oh ok. I was curious because one of the earlier covers had him up against the Whizzer...

I'll probably buy this once the last issue is released.

The miniseries is really nothing to write home about. If you like the Ultimate Universe and the Squadron Supreme then I definitely say pick this up. And Greg Land's artwork is phenomenal and worth the price of admission alone.

The best issue, so far, has been # 7 which just came out this week. It definitely picked up the action and the story.

I'm pretty sure it's just on hold until this whole Ultimates/Squadron mini is sorted out. Sort of stupid if you ask me, considering the last issue of Squadron Supreme was a cliffhanger.

Even though Thor beat Hyperion, it was only because of the 'Kryptonite'.
