I HAVE to admit. I'm letting my love for Transformers influence my liking for this film. I honestly don't know if I'd like it more or less if I weren't a TFormers fan.

Yeah like I said Cullen is the reason I ultimately gave the movie a 7 out of 10. He carried the movie for me. Everything else was dressing.

Oh I can tell you that personally I don't think I'd have given two ****s about this film. Shia was really really good, but the movie transitions from him to the bots as it progresses, and thus his impact diminishes. If it weren't for the fact that these are the characters so near and dear to my heart, I'd have probably sat in my seat wondering wtf I just did with $7.

A lot better.
The first time The final battle seemed to me a bit confusing. The second time it was clear and FANTASTIC :trans:

I loved it the second time, hated it the first time. I just wish they would cut out that god aweful rock music **** from some scenes, especially during Prime's ending dialogue. A speech that great should have been given over an emotional score.

It stayed the same to me. But that's a good thing, because I absolutely love this movie.

The problem is that one of the reasons we enjoy movies the first time is because of all the surprises. Once you take away the surprises there has to be something else to keep you involved in the story or you're going to notice flaws out of boredom. It's only natural.

I felt that way half way through my first viewing...no way I am sitting through that again!

Personally for me it was, also would love it if it passed Titanic for all-time box office crown cause damn that movie doesn't deserve that distinction.

My friend saw it twice yesterday. First time, he really enjoyed it, despite the Michael bay Cheesiness. The second time he pretty much decided he hated it besides the action.

Some people (like I) don't need to see films twice in such a short period of time. If he loved it the first time, he'll love it when the DVD comes out.

The CGI scenes don't blend so well the third time.

When the robots interact, it looks like the same shot.

Saw it 3 times now...monday, tuesday and today.

Damn MM! That's cool man. :yay: Last time I ever saw a movie more than 2 times was Jurassic Park way back in the day (5 times). I really envy that this movie didn't have that effect on me. I might go see it again... heck if I gave Phantom Menace a 2nd chance surely Transformers deserves it too.

Hmm, I don't know. I'm not a huge Transformers fan at all. I can't sit here and say I've watched every episode of the cartoon and I never owned any of the toys. But I loved it, and so did my sisters and my dad.

:wow:
I watched that movie once in theaters...then The Matrix came out and I said, "To hell with Jar Jar" and watched Matrix about 4 times...I can't really remember how many exactly.

When did you get the ability to see into the future? :P

I think this whole DVD issue brings up an interesting question:

How ****ty are the robots going to look on standard DVD? I'm thinking due to there complexity it almost has to be watched in high-def.

Then again, maybe the lack of detail will make them easier to see(?)

I actually think that the lower the def, the better they'll look.
The higher the def, the more fake they'll look.

This is just like Attack of the Clones.
It looked so real in the theater, but looks fake as hell on TV, but these effects were amazing and effects have advanced greatly since 2002. I wish I got to see Transformers in HD. That one played 30 minutes before my show. I was pissed that I missed it by that much. Pirates 3 was so much better when I saw it in HD.

Tough call with the DVD thing. :/

If ever there was a movie that I would want to see on IMAX...this is it.

Does anyone have any ideas as how Megatron would come back to life for a sequel besides the stupid plan of the us government to just dump him into the ocean instead of studying his technology or just melting him down into lava?

- The "indestructible" argument.
- Coming back as Galvatron (ala The Transformers: The Movie/I hate this idea).
- The other Decepticons that Starscream will get may go find him.
- An underwater volcano that'll blast Megs out of the water.

I would definitely think it would get better... I'm gonna be watching it again next paycheck

Not sure yet that is what Im gonna find out this weekend.

I loved it more tha second time. I saw things I didn't even notice the first. I think my excitement the first time clouded my eyes. If that makes any sense.
