To battle against Ogun if I remember correctly. Ogun who was Wolverines original ninja/martial arts instructor or something.

I think this is at the timeline when Kitty evolves into the Shadowcat we know of today (in the Marvel lore).

See, it could have easily turned into the Phoenix ripping out the adamatium instead of magneto, even though it would have been classic, i mean if the Alpha Mutant can do anything surly Phoenix can do that small task, which if rumors are true that Wolvie in turn kills her.... it would makes sense.

I guess he was still too down emotionally from Charles' death. He didn't want to kill his pupil, too, since he knew very well that he's one of three school's teachers now. Two only, since Beast stayed in politics.

hi, this is my 1st post, anyways ive seen the movie twice and im still going in for a 3rd, im from the philippines... to answer your question, if you watch the scene where logan is approaching jean/phoenix and logan's costume is being demolecularized...yeah that scene, anyways after a few seconds, you can see logan's skin also slowly being demolecularized in that scene you will see a "silvery" undercoat which i assume is his adamantium...its not actually ripped out but atleast it made an appearance...i may be wrong... i may be right...

You also see his adamantium organs because those stay intact after his skin is removed.
