Don't be harsh

I really like the way you portrayed the impact a murder can have on someone who was close to the victim, and the choice to keep it in B+W was a very good one.

The main problem comes in the way you move the camera. Sometimes it's very fluid, other times it's really sudden. This can work out in a longer piece, but the shorter the film, the more consitency needed.

Overall, it's a very good film, especially for a first timer.

That guy has dreamy hair.

I wish my hair was that thick and lucious.

What do you use:huh:

Visually it was pretty good, aside from a few extremely quick cuts.

The main guy kind of looked like Val Kilmer and Collin Farrell mushed together. :o

Visually is looks great, B+w is always a good move for dramas ;)

I thought the credits should have been at the end tho, a mention to who directs it is fine but i hate whole casts at the start of a film.
When he "Shoots" or what ever he does to that guy it went WAY! to fast you should have at least had about more there not just a WOOSH and he is sleeping next to a bog brush....

Good effort tho :D

Yeah....not the imagery I was going for with that term. Google is apparently not your friend.

i like the part where the guy is practicing his sweet kung fu reverse high kick and wooden katana skills.

Thanks for the compliment! I wasn't very satisified with the finished product because it was supposed to be a lot longer! Unforunately I made too many mistakes with the schedules and finding good locations! But, like I said before..."live and learn."

That would've been a lot cooler if it was the same story but directed by David Lynch.
Also, the music had me cracking up within 4 notes. lol

Temp music tends to suck, but I didn't have the time or budget to get a composer! :csad:

I see that you bashed him in two threads! Nice  :D

Well, the music wasn't entirely his fault 'cause he can't do music on his own.
But still, if he'd held up a mic while beating on some boxes and ting-tanging on some glasses it would've at least been more interesting.

It's a piece of crap! :csad: But, you know what they say..."live and learn."

Eh, not bad for your first try.

Hope you don't mind if I critique you... just a little advice... One thing I've noticed about movies is that you need to keep the camera as still as possible. Also, with home videos there is a weird background noise, so if possible try and use a microphone to get rid of that.

The acting was pretty good, but I didn't really know what was going on. All I knew was that some guy was yelling "No!" and talking to a woman or something. Then he killed somebody...

But good first try. If my words sounded harsh, it was not intended... it's just in my nature to critique. :)

Oh darnit... :whatever:

I was just being nice originally. I had only meant well for Road Warrior because I myself hope to go into movie making. Whether he accepted my advice or not was his choice. I was merely expressing my opinion. If you have a problem with that, feel free to bite me.
