Yeah, Keaton sucked all the way. Not only he played a goofy Bruce Wayne, he didnt look anything as wayne or as batman. A 5'7 or 5'8 guy trying to be scary and impossing? maybe in a spoof movie, not in a serious batman movie.

Mister Lennon...hate to disagree with you on this, but if history is honest, U2 will go down as the greatest band of all time...they have been together over 23 years and their last CD just won 5 grammy's...they are still making relevant music that not only people my age listen to, 41, but that college kids listen to as well. The Beatles were the FIRST mega group, but if we are honest, not the best. I mean c'mon, a woman broke them up...

You are wrong if you think that Yoko was the main reasons in the break up of the beatles. Even before john knowed her, he and paul didnt get along anymore, they were in a terrible relationship and their styles come along very different. The work toghether was harder and harder, and george and ringo wanted to do new and different things. And that was before Yoko meet john.
Yeah, she was also one of the reasons of the end of the group and the relationship between John and Paul, but not the main reason.

And not, u2 is a great group, but they cant be compared to the beatles. The beatles music is probably the most influential and important in pop and rock history. Yeah, u2 have been together over 23 years, but the beatles are today a more important group with great sales today and more great songs, 36 years before the end of the group. Also, if you are talking about longevity, the rolling stones are 43 years together.

Led Zeppelin is the greatest band ever! But The Beatles are by far the most influential band ever. It's an indisputed fact. And U2 sold out. They gave up a lot of their artistic credibility with their last album and went way too commericial. Evenn if they hadn't, they will never come close to achieving what bands like The Beatles, Led Zep, The Rolling Stones, The Who and Queen, to name a few, accomplished in their career. End of discussion.

Yeah Keaton really DID suck as Batman.I will take val Kilmer any day of the year over keaton.He at least looked the part.Some people here just dont get it though that no matter how good of an actor you are if you dont even come close to resembling the part you bring no credibility to the role and keaton was no exception to that rule.Reminds me of Burt Reynolds being cast for Boss Hogg.In Both cases,I was muttering to myself-WTF?

Darth I hate to tell you this but your being a hypocrite here.Yes they were killing your thread but so are you talking about a subject thats got nothing whatsoever to do with Batman. If you want to debate the beetles and u2 with mr Lennon then you should have sent a pm to mr lennon so you can debate it with him.

Does Caine look anything like Alfred? No. Alfred has dark hair, a mustache, and relative long facial featurres, whereas Caine has grey hair, no facial hair and his facial features are more boxed. But did that do anything to discredit him in the part? No. he was excellent!

Same with Keaton. He didn't look the part, but he nailed the dark, brooding persona down perfectly.
