Just happened to watch Agatha Christie's Hercule Poirot's Christmas, and while there are plenty of differences, and I didn't know it at the time while watching Knives Out, now realize how much Knives is just a reworking of this Poirot episode. (with a slick contemporary f'u twist to it)
Would likely make a good double-feature.
