Although we know doom will have armor in FF2, we dont know what kind hell wear.

(Srry for the terrible Manip)
They could go with a more realistic armor type, almost like Iron Man armor

OR

They could use the classic medieval type armor (My personal Favorite)

What do you guys think??

I like this one personally,it looks like the classic but also very functional like a heavy duty battle armour used in war

Here are some more possible Doom looks that fall in with the medieval type, but look somewhat like a mix of classic and new

The very bottom pic from Jim Lee's run is in my opinion, the definitive design of Doom...it should be the way Doom looks in the movie to a tee...

I agree, I like it because it is sort of a mix between old and new. It looks alot like the classic design but more updated

Naa, my personal favourite Doom look was only recent- the newest Ultimate Doom look.

For me that just radiates menace and sheer power.

Does anybody else think they should go the way of Secret Wars and have Doom try to absorb Galacticus's power?? It would be cool if there was a climax, possiblely in FF3, with the FF fighting Galacticus off when Doom takes advantage of this and steals his power, so when we all thought the final fight had started, the real final battle will be FF and the Silver Surfer vs super powered Doom.

Well, I have a feeling that we are going to get a cosmic powered Doom this time around...the way I see it, the Surfer will start to see the error of his ways and that is when Doom will strike and take his power and become a god...will Doom last with this power through the next movie where he can challenge Galactus to a standstill or will he lose that power before that?

Are the Fantastic 4 in this movie?

Yes, I love the F4...they are my favorite team in all of comicdom and I want to see them grow as a family and a team but Doom's improvement surpasses all.. and if he gets to become the cosmic powered monarch, then Tim Story delivered the goods big time...

Well, I've always wanted power.....:o

I suspect the time spent in Latveria will be when he amasses his arsenal of mechancial beings and whatever else. Hopefully we see him fight the FF once during the course of the movie, get defeated or escape, then have him discover what Galactus and the SS are about, then periodically attempt to harness their power for himself.

You hit it right on the head...I hope Doom realizes the potential of the power of the Surfer and takes it from him, which leads to him determining that if he takes down Galactus, then Doom shall be the ultimate power in the universe....

I wonder how long it would take for him to take over Latveria?

0.6 seconds (Weather permitting.)

LOL.

I'd love to see that. And it bridges the gap in-between FF and FF2... So, I'd say it's a very tangible idea. Hopefully Fox does something like that. It would rock.

Not yet, he then needs to take down... THE BEYONDER!!!!
MUAHAHAHA!!!!

and we know how that turned out...here is the direct quote:

"The Beyonder is dead...now the supreme being in the universe is DOOM!!"

I am loving the inside of the Orpheum as being the interior of Doom's fortress but I hope it is not the "mansion" they have been referring it to and they actually mean castle. I hope they actually show the exterior of this fortress as awe-inspiring. Furthermore, I hope these shots are suppose to take place in Latveria not New York.

If this movie puts the Kirby drawn sequence with Doom standing over a defeated Siver Surfer reveling in the Power Cosmic.... I might say something good about it.

It all boils down to the pesky script. Who's forcing changes on the lowly screenwriter?

As long as Doom kicks complete ass in this one Ill be fine....

I really like this armor design as well

That's cool (the picture in general)...reminds me of this:

It's a Fantastic FOur we'll never have - dark, gritty, repulsive and human.

Didn't Steve Skroce do this piece of art? I think a couple years ago he did a few pieces of his vision of the FF movie, got it saved somewhere.

I'm not a die-hard F4 fan, so I think I can offer a little objectivity. I agree that that armor would look cooler than his metal body. However, everything else about the castle, the robots, and taking over a country would ruin the movie. Think about how much screen time alone would be needed to fit that into a movie. Then think about where that's gonna fit in with the rest of the movie, considering you still need to have room for SS.

I never read the comics, but how long did it take to establish that he was a ruler of a country, had magical powers, had a host of robots and duplicates, etc. I'm sure how ever many comics it took for all that be part of his history, it couldn't have been translated into 1 or 2 movies that he isn't even the focus of.

You guys that are complaining about not being 100% faithful to the comics, sound like the X-men fans who complained about Wolverine not having his spandex and mask. Sometimes you have to sacrifice some ideas from the comics if you want to really bring a character to life.

I think I'll just sit back in the ole' recliner and watch the fireworks about to happen. LMAO.
