Two movies and they couldn't get it right. I gave them a pass with FF1, but to blow it a second time is just wrong.

The 1994 version. The 2005 version was only saved by a green cloak and the mask, with the 2007 version looking like a bad ripoff of Darth Vader.

Ironic since Darth Vader was heavily inspired by Doom in the first place.

Movie Doom's persona was similar to Osborn's. In the comic Doom isn't a company CEO he's the monarch of a nation. Nor does he have super-powers in a general sense. His mind is his greatest weapon. He is a decent sorcerer on the side, as well.

Agree 100%. I don't dislike McMahon but Doom is **** in these films, which is unfortunate as he is one of my all time fav villains.
