Dr. Gordon Returns to Saw 7

I didn't mind Saw V either, but Saw VI was easily far better in just about every way. Saw V had a filler feeling to it.

I'm really surprised by the lack of Scream Queens talk at the Hype. It's a good show that focuses on silly acting challenges over petty drama...has some reasonably hot chicks...and the winner gets a part in Saw 3D. Yet most horror websites and forums dont mention it.

Saw 3D has officially been pushed back to October 29th now instead of the 22nd.

They don't want to risk a repeat of what happened with the first Paranormal Activity since PA2 comes out on the 22nd. Guess I can understand their logic.

Basically, they don't want to get their asses kicked again.

The Black woman who cuts her arm off in Saw VI was on Scream Queens, i assume she won it...

She won the first year...and will be coming back for Saw 3D. Season 2 is playing on VH1 Monday nights (though I find it easier to watch it on their website).

Not that I wanna know, but just wondering if Dr.Gordon is just gonna be in flashbacks or actually gonna be in this fued for legacy..Far as the self help group it seems Sean Patric Flannery might end up being the new jigs to keep the franchise going imo or he might just a wanna be who gets axed by Costas or Dr.Gordon??

Dr Gordon will play a big role but I don't think he is going to hobble around as the new Jigsaw.

This is one of the few movies that I think would benefit from the 3D treatment

I wouldnt' be surprised if he is the one who stops Hoffman...

Either way it's going to be interesting. Lionsgate has been really, really quiet about the Saw film and any attempt made by fans to post the comic-con footage is met with swift action by LGF.

What did they show in the comic-con footage??

What did they show in the comic-con footage??

At Comic-Con they showed the first eight minutes of Saw 3D. Now, it is a rough cut of the first 8 minutes so obviously things could change. One of the big spoilers was Gordon crawling out of the bathroom and placing his severed foot on a burning pipe.

Then from what I understand they showed the trap where the public is watching the guy with the giant saw facing him.

There's more but better descriptions are given than what I can give.

For the most part they have, but its little less than 2 months before movie is release so I'm sure some stuff will be leaked.

Yeah, the footage was posted briefly and LGF quickly went into action and took it off of Youtube. The most you'll find regarding Saw 3D is the panel discussion at the comic-con, parody trailers, and people who attended comic-con discussing the content of the footage and their opinions of it.

Due to the disappointing box office returns of Saw 6 the word is that this will be the last one. But I'm sure once it makes a lot of money at the box office due to the price of 3D there will be another one.

However, the writers and the director said there will be a lot of closure for certain characters in this one. My guess is if they make anymore they'll be direct to DVD releases.

Why not? It's not like people will continue to flock to these films in the theatres once it goes past 8. I believe this is Tobin's last contracted appearance, Costas probably won't do anymore, Cary Elwes is most likely done after this, and Betsy Russell is probably done after this too.

So either way they'll most likely just continue it direct to dvd releases or direct to television release.

I know they'll keep this going somehow. I'm just hoping part 7 gives us a cutoff point .
