Johnny Depp, definatly. One of the best actors around today, a big name that could pull in a big audience (even more so after Pirates). Can play intelegent and thoughtful very well.

Oliphant would be a good choice as well. I just don't see Brody at all though

Not a big name Hollywood actor but neither where Hught Jackman, Tobey Maguire and Christen Bale.

Credits include Brotherhood (TV), Harry Potter movies, West Wing (TV), Peter Pan, The Tuxedo, Black Hawk Down, Sweet November, The Patriot, Armageddon and Event Horizon.

You know he has played a sorcerer before. On Justice League Unlimited, Fehr did the voice DC's Dr. Fate.
Wouldn't that be interesting.

I've said it in another thread before but watch The Count of Monte Cristo and see how perfect Caviezel would be as Strange. The scene where he introduces himself to the world when he comes down in the balloon - perfect. Then there's another scene where he even has the big red cloak! I just kept thinking "This guy should be Doc Strange!"

I havent seen the illusionist yet but my only problem is that he's gonna be the Hulk and I'm not a fan of someone playing multiple heroes. That's just my opinion tho.
