BATMAN ROGUES GALLERY

A PHOTO-MANIPULATION

BY VICARIOU5

I am finally finished with this project. Got some rather obscure rogues in there as well, took about 2-3 weeks to put the entire thing together and has been a w.i.p for quite some time now.

I didnt want to post this in the fan art thread because it will cause tremendous scrolling issues and I wouldnt wanna link it because it can easily go unoticed. That been said I present to you my version of Batman's deadliest foes.

This was my first time really doing a photo-manipulation at this scale. It was completely done on photoshop and the project took me about 2 weeks worth of intense labor. Exhausting and frustrating but I really enjoyed working on each character bringing them to life from their comic counterparts and the end result...Well I'd rather you decide!

I grounded my feet in the "Nolanverse" but took some heavy liberties on some of the outlandish characters, but in doing so I used the comic incarnations as a guide and so some of the characters are pretty much a realistic translation of how they have appeared in the books and in no way reflect upon how I envision them in this current Nolan franchise.

Each character was meticulously worked on until my notion of perfection.

I used some the popular casting ideas and and some of my personal picks to fill the shoes of the rogues .

I'm sure some of you might wanna know who's playing who, so below is a list of villains manipped above with the significant actor.

Not all of the rogues were casted, some with full face masks or weird conditions are not going to have an actor listed next to them...Use your creative freedom and imagine.

-Vicariou5-

This is not to pass judgement on casting choices but rather a way to view a different take on the villains. Its about the character visually not the way it would play out on screen.

If I am missing a baddie someone would like for me to add then make your suggestion and perhaps ill make the addition down the line. i know I am missing a few like the clock king, tweedle dee/dum,and lock up to name a few but I just wasnt inspired enough to add them, but perhaps down the line I might take a go at em, and ill be sure to update this as I make changes.

I already commented it on DA. :yay:

Which ones were the most difficult, or that required more work than others?

hey thats pretty cool, I wish there was a solely Batman Mortal Kombat game with these guys... with Manbat and what not in there it reminds me of MK

good job its cool to see them standing in scale with one another I really like how you did deadshot & catwoman.... cool choice on Ventriloquist too

you actually made KillerMoth look cool haha good job

clayface kindof looks like he is grind dance... too bad no ones knee is behind him

Cheers!

Well, some of the harder ones were posion ivy, freeze, & clayface; actually each character approx took over 3 hours to do with the obvious exceptions like batman, joker and the likes of the terrible trio and the crime bosses.

HAha, I just realized that the Brolin Maxie Zeus looks like the burger king mascot!

that's far better than it should be

best: riddler, catwoman, clayface, freeze, trio, manbat

bit iffy: deadshot, phantasm, bane, penguin, hatter

overall a remarkable mix of creativity and interpretation + clever technical skill

still not fixed? you got to fix that logo if you want that piece to appear somewhat professional... and I know you put time into those characters

Good job

What exaclty is Catwoman supposed to be wearing jw?

And what was your idea in creating Freeze?JW

that is awesome man. good job. Steve Buscemi as the Mad Hatter is awesome.

You know what all this time I never noticed it. The logo is pretty outta whack on the top right corner...I might fix it, eventually.

Good job

Catwoman is wearing what Adam Hughes would have her wear :cwink:

Freeze...well I wouldnt wanna go into too much detail or it'll kill the mystery. In short, stolen wayne ent pneumatic suit technology+chemical accident involving liquid nitro+very plausable liquid nitrogen based freeze gun=my idea in creating freeze. Oh and Daniel Craigs cold eyes.

I am not gonna lie iam not very familiar with some of those villains lol

Yea i've never seen Vulture, Shark and Fox before. I'm presuming they work together or something?

spoiler tags are your friends

For the image so it doesn't overload us with its sheer gargantuousness!

I hate to say it, but I've never even heard of a few of these :(

Awesome stuff though, it'd be a miracle if I could even DRAW something at this scale, much less manip it

Magnific job vicariou5, i also made something like that, you can find it at my DA hope you like it =)

Calender Man for Robin Williams is brilliant! Great job!!

I really like the Great White Shark.

Great job Vic!! Truly brilliant work.

Thank you all! I Appreciate your kind words.

Yea i've never seen Vulture, Shark and Fox before. I'm presuming they work together or something?

Yea In the comics they were depicted as crazed scientists but its the version from the Animated series that i chose to use. Three bored rich men...Each of them inherited family fortunes. Fox gets his from oil; Vulture's father owned an aerodynamics firm; and Shark's father was a shipping magnate. With all their money and free time they turn to crime. The Terrible Trio!

P.S. Made a few minor changes, Riddler has his cane now and the awful warped logo from the background is gone!

This thread is too good to sit on the second page... You're work is perfect.
