When you have come up with an alternative that doesn't involve encouraging the Palestineans to do it again and again and again, I'm willing to listen.

Oh, yes. Invading a Palestinian city, killing and driving out the civilians is a SURE way of deterring them. There's NO WAY they'll ever reciprocate. Uhuh.

I may not be in a position to offer an alternative since I am not a political expert, but I can surely see that invading a city of a group of people who hates Israel to the bone is definitely an encouragement for the Palestinians to do it again and again and again at an even bigger scale.

And who knows, they might even take it to the American soil.

Hmm…ok so….Let’s just say you kidnap me……so should my country kill you and everyone else in your country, even those who don’t know who you are and why you did it? That’s just sick and twisted. You and I don't have to live under a daily threat of terrorism. While it was traumatic for the US to have one successful terrorist attack in which 3,000 died, the Israelis had the same proportional attack daily during the peak of the intifada.

If Palestineans laid down their arms and built their country, there'd be peace tomorrow. Can't say the same if Israel laid down theirs.

The fact they Israel is not wiping them out is self-control. Back in the late 70's Jordan wiped out about 70,000 Palestineans because they tried to do the same thing in Jordan that they've been doing to Israel.

If you wanted it to stop, that's what Israel would have to do to make it stop.

I'm really sorry to say this War Lord…………..but the way you're thinking the whole situation……it's kind of similar to the villains I’ve watched on movies and cartoons and fought against in video games. It’s almost like I’m arguing with Magneto, Senator Kelly, Trask or Apocalypse! Doesn't say how many of those 22 are militants and how many are civilians. Unfortunately, the militants use civilians as human shields.

The story doesn't say whether that 16 year old Palestinean was a militant or an innocent bystander. For all we know, he was shooting at Israelis looking for his 72 virgins.

I'm not saying that they should be wiped out, but if Israel wanted to solve it once and for all, that's what it would take, just as Jordan practiced it. Expecting peace and goodwill from the Palestineans because Israel practices it is not a possibility.

All Israel would get if they didn't respond when their their citizens were killed is more dead civilians.

To be honest, I'm really getting tired of arguing now. Bottom line: Israel is still not justified to attack civilians over one solider. Israel is in a 'damed if they do damed if they dont' situation.
1)Sure they could just forget the incident but that just encourages Hamas to grab more people
2)The strike militarilty like they did and get depicted to be inhuman monsters who are just shooting people on sight and raping women and children.

Anyone who believes this attack was about one soldier need to rethink the whole situation.....the one soldier was the straw that broke the camels back
