DTL Season 4-Week 5 (Set 3)

The rules:
This is one of four threads, each containing two match ups.
The threads will be in use for 6 days.
Days 1-4 (Thursday-Sunday) are strictly setup time for owners to plead their cases, tell us their team’s strategies, breakdown the match ups, and do whatever else they can/want to do to try and convince you that their team would pull out a victory. Please, let the owners do this on their own with no help from you, the fan.

When Day 5 (Monday) rolls around, I’ll post and tell everyone that voting may begin. Only after doing so will voting start. Any votes cast before I open voting will not count.
To vote, look over the matchups and read the owners strategies and take them into consideration. Afterwards, use your best judgment to decide who you think has the best chance to win the match up and post up the teams you think will prevail.
(Note: The length of a writeup is up to the owner. Do not punish owners just for having a shorter writeup.)

To vote, give each writeup a score out of 10, with the team you feel winning the match earning the higher score. No tie votes are allowed, one team must get a higher score, even if only by a single vote.

Remember, to vote for each match up or your vote will not count!

The teams with the highest vote total at the end of the 6th day (Tuesday) will get a W while the other will get an L.

Chaos & Order
Vision (eXiles), Silver Sorceress, Fate (Jared Stevens), Scarlet Spider, Proctor

Prep-Time

Silver: "Ben? Ben! Where are you?" Silence greets the sorceress and she continues her search for the missing member of Chaos & Order. "Ben, where did you go? The tohers are waiting."

Scarlet: "This place is so freaking cool!"

Silver: Follows the voice into a large room and spies Ben standing on a landing, palying with different computers. "Ben, what are you doing?"

Scarlet: "Oh man, Laura. When I found this room, I just had to start poking around these systems."

Silver: "You and computers."

Scarlet: "You don't know the half of it. These aren't just ordinary computers. From what I've read so far, this place was built by aliens tens of thousands of years ago. Now humans, civilain and military, live here. They're the ones who built the interfaces with the alien systems."

Silver: "Why?"

Scarlet: "I didn't read that far. Not after I noticed that." Ben points.

Silver: Turns and looks to see a massive metal ring standing in the room. "What...what is that?"

Scarlet: "They call it a 'Stargate'".

Silver: "A what?"

Scarlet: "That's the cool part. When you dial the correct seven symbol addres on that panel over there," Ben points, "it activates the Stargate. The ring contains a stable subspace wormhole."

Silver: "I'm sure it does. So...it does what?"

Scarlet: "A wormhole!" Ben gets exasperated when Laura just shakes her head. "A rift in space-time that allows instantaneous intersteller travel between worlds with their own Stargates."

Silver: "So we could travel to another planet?"

Scarlet: "Sure. Well, if we knew the address of another world. I haven't been able to find one of those because of all of the security they have on the computers. But if we did, then yeah, we walk into the ring on this side, and walk out of another ring on some planet. It's just so freaking cool!"

Silver: "You're geeking out on me, Ben."

Scarlet: "Hell yeah I am!"

Silver: "Well, why I've been searching for you, Vision has already interfaced with some of the bases systems."

Scarlet: "He has?!? That's great! What's he found out?"

Vision: "Very little." The synthoid, followed by Fate and Proctor walk into the control room on the bottom level.

Fate: "We got tired of waiting."

Scarlet: "Oh...uh...sorry about that. It's just..."

Proctor: "It does not matter why. We have important information."

Silver: "What did you find?"

Scarlet: "Any stuff about the base?"

Vision: "I have discovered very little. Most of the systems on this base require the user to have a specific gene sequence within their DNA to be activated."

Scarlet: "Well, that's strange."

Fate: "Sure is. 'Cause I don't know what the hell you just said. Damn, I need a beer."

Vision: "I have discovered rudimentary blueprints of the city. And a few other facts about the station including a number of small craft."

Scarlet: "Cool!"

Vision: "That can only be activated by those with the gene."

Scarlet: "Damn."

Proctor: "Tell him what you discovered."

Fate: "Yeah, go ahead and crush the poor kid after he finds nerd heaven and all."

Vision: "Our opponents have taken over a central area of the city. Specifically, the armory."

Silver: "Can they use the weapos without that gene?"

Vision: "They appear to be standard human armorments. They have also been able to access city computers, although it is doubtful they would have more access then we have."

Proctor: "We are going to need a plan."

Fate: "A damn good one too."

Proctor: "Obviously. A bad plan would be of little use to us."

Fate: "I don't know. I've lived through enough bad plans since becomming Fate."

Proctor: "That explains a great many things."

Scarlet: "Well, I've got a couple of ideas, but I'm going to need your help Vision..."

Battle

A group of the Tea Baggers is surprised as Vision drops from the ceiling and the Silver Sorceress teleports infront of them. Iceman intantly fires off blasts from his hands. One passes through Vision, the other is blocked by Silver's barrier. Amazing Man grabs a small diamond in one of his belt pouches, ready for the attack. But Vision interrupts. "I just wanted to play," it says. "Play?" Impossible Man says, pushing his way to the front. "You want to play?" Iceman tries to get between them. "NO! It's a trick. They know you're the most unpredictable!" Vision just floats. "I will run, you will try and catch me." Impossible Man claps like a little kid. "Yes. We'll have so much fun!" "NO!" Drakes shouts. I-Man turns into a giant hairdryer and blows Bobby into a wall with hot air, partially melting him. "You're it!" I-Man says. Vision takes off down a corridor with I-Man giving chase. Laura gives the two remaining opponents a wink and teleports away. "Well, that's just great," Amazing Man says.


Flying down the corridor as a jet fighter, I-Man quickly begins gaining on Vision. "I'm going to get you..." Vision looks back, changes direction upwards, and phases through a ceiling. "Hey, that's not fair!" I-Man turns into a big cannon and fires a shell trhough the ceiling. From the hole he sees Vision go up through another ceiling. I-Man turns into a flying tank and bursts through ceilings and walls, chasing Vision...


Fantomex cartwheels along the floor, and then up a wall, to avoid Proctor's eye beams. The enitre time he is firing his guns, the bullets ripping through Whitman's body. But because he holds the Ebony Blade, he does not die. He just endures the pain and continues his attack. A quick teleport and Proctor is slashing for the human-hybrid's neck. But Fantomex is just too fast and pulls off an evasive manuever that should be impossible. "Very impressive," Proctor remarks. "You haven't seen anything yet," Fantomex says...
