I've been playing around with photo-manips, lately. These have been posted in the FF forum, but I figured I could throw them in here, too.

Just some re-imaginings on The Thing's movie look.

I recently had the urge to make a bust of The Thing...this one's just a study out of plasticine, but hopefully in the not-too-distant-future I'll get to take a crack at it in clay or some such material...

A WACOM Graphire3...just a small 4x5. It's not the absolute best you can get, but it does the job.

I have to say that seeing where you started on Page 1 and where you ended up on Page 2 with Photoshop in just those few months was completely great.

wow there is some really great stuff there, I absolutly love that Spidey Skeleton.

Very nice work. The only real criticism is with Captain Canada: The costume is WAYYYY too complex, especially if he were to beome an active comic book character. Curvy plastic armor is unusually difficult to draw actively, and really, something like Vindicator, who is very less-is-more in design, works out better, and gets the Canada part across better.

and as a corrolary, Captain Denmark seems to be exactly the same character.

On the whole though, everything else is fantastic.

A couple of things to put up.

First, a little graphic design for everybody. This is a logo I created for our hockey team. It got made and it's on our jerseys...unfortunately, we still haven't won a game.

And this one here is one I did for the colouring contest on the board. THIS IS NOT MY LINE-ART...I JUST DID THE COLOURING. This is a bigger one than I posted in the actual thread...don't know why I mentioned that.

Anyway...here it is.
