I can see the Stormwind banner in the background.

yeah a different article I saw last night mentioned that pic was the Stormwind throne room.

i think both to short and to long is bad for hollywood. what can happen is that the studio changes the directors vision because another movie came out at that time and the studio decides to change it because they think they will make more money.

lets hope this will not happen.

p.s.: i think WB will not use the extra time to make the movie that they wanted to make july 2013(comic con). they will use this extra time to change the script . i bet at least 3 times.

It's Universal and Legendary now. But if Legendary wants a sequel to either Godzilla or Pac Rim, it'll be with WB.

i forgot to writte WB and Batman & Superman as an example. they will change the script so many times that Affleck in 2016 will realize that he signed on a different movie.

Has it been said Godzilla sequels are at WB? Is it all specualtion UNI/WB at this point? Seeing as nothing has been said officially. I think it would have moved something would have been said when we heard S. Son, Warcraft and the rest moved to UNI.

The head of Legendary just mentioned it here from a tweet from a reporter from The Wrap:

Thomas Tull says legendary would probably make a Godzilla sequel with Warner bros (and not new partner universal).

It's definite but it's probably not going anywhere.

Thanks for that post. Was unsure about it, but was leaning towards WB.

Looks like its a grand father clause unless noted.

If I'm not mistaken, Godzilla started off in house at WB then Legendary took over. Then Legendary kicked off the WB producers (I think it's a good cause) and replaced them with their own.

Thats the whole Lee and Lin case, right?

Yeah.

It's a conflict that's so internal that I can't even speculate who did the wrong doing. Legendary looks like pricks at first, but who says that Lin and Lee aren't difficult to deal with..I don't know.

Although director Duncan Jones' Warcraft is already well into production, fans won't see the video game adaptation hit the big screen until March 11, 2016. According to Legendary Pictures CEO Thomas Tull, that's because some very big things are planned for the film's post-production phase.

"Part of it is getting the date right," Tull tells CraveOnline. "As you may have noticed, these next two years, there’s pretty big titles coming out. We wanted to make sure that we got that right, but there are some sequences and some things that Duncan Jones has done that are truly on the cutting edge. You want to have plenty of time to make sure that we dial those in. So by the time they get home and set up, it’ll be a little less than two years. It’ll be about 20 months but we really want to take our time and get this right because the technology that’s employed really is some next generation stuff."

Starring Ben Foster, Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Toby Kebbell, Rob Kazinsky, Dominic Cooper, Daniel Wu and Clancy Brown, Warcraft is written by Jones and Charles Leavitt. The producers include, in addition to Tull, Charles Roven and Alex Gartner for Atlas Entertainment and Jon Jashni for Legendary. Stuart Fenegan, Jillian Share and Brent O’Connor will serve as executive producers. Blizzard's Chris Metzen will co-produce.

Tull's just making that excuse about Warcraft's 2016 date because Disney forced them out of that December 2015 spot with Star Wars: Episode VII.

And since WB financed 25% of Godzilla, they would have first right of refusal when/if Legendary green lights Godzilla sequels.

I've only played World of Warcraft but [blackout]Medivh[/blackout] is a very familar name to me. Should be interesting to see how that plays out since there was mention of the interacting with mo-capped characters.

I played WoW for about 3-4 years and the name Medivh is incredibly familiar but I can't remember when or what part of the game he was in.

In a way it is although it has more magic, dragons and technology going on, and it isn't as cut and dry good versus evil.

I haven't been paying too much attention to this so I'd didn't know how far along this was. Clancy Brown is in this?! :awesome:

I can't wait to see the fantasy of Warcraft on the big screen, I'm not a WoW fan but I do enjoy the universe alot(been meaning to pick up Warcraft III for a while).

Foster playing a mage? Bring it. This dude is very underrated actor wise and I hate that term.

this is a weird cast. will this thing flop or is the Warcraft fanbase stronger than i realize?
