This movie man...so much to chew on. What a film. I felt like watching Paul ride the sandworm was creating a piece of cinematic history. This gets me excited for the rest of 2024's movies.

Another comedy that Dune Part Two reminded me of was Coneheads. The Harkonnen arena was basically a big budget version of this:

Yeah, his first couple lines had that twang, I was like "Oh No" and then from there on he sounded like Stellan thankfully.

It's one of the better movies based on a Saturday Night Live sketch but if I'm being honest it's not exactly a ringing endorsement.

Oh I just got home from seeing part 2 my god it was AWESOME I liked it more than part 1 and I thought that was an amazing film.

Who here has seen Lawrence of Arabia? Ive seen some compare these Dune movies to that. Thats one of those all time classics that i just never got around to watching…worth it?

Lawrence of Arabia is an amazing film, and yes Dune is similar in several regards. But different in others. Highly recommend watching it

Beyond worth it. The similarities are definitely there, but they’re very different overall.
