Speaking of Prisoners... if Denis wants to reuse one of his actors, I could see Hugh Jackman as Leto.

Also, I could see Ray Winstone as Harkonnen.

Jeff Goldbloom in a fat suit, prosthetics and animatronics as Baron Harkonnen. Not kidding. He'd capture the Baron's fierce intelligence and eccentricities nicely.

Still would like to see Liam Neeson as Leto. Have trouble thinking of a Jessica; one of the few things they got right in the Lynch movie was Francesca Annis. Remember that this was a woman who was originally presented to the Emperor of the Universe as a concubine or wife, and he rejected her because she was too beautiful and would be a distraction to him as ruler. Cate Blanchett is one of my favorite actresses ever, but she doesn't fit that profile for me.

I am actually leaning towards Salma Hayek or Aishwaria Rai for Jessica.

I've seen Josh Brolin's name batted around a few times. He'd be a good Gurney Halleck.
