I am sure it will, too. But I would like the next one to look more like Dune did than the Star Wars D+ stuff. Those don't look terrible or anything, but Dune was visually gorgeous. I want that quality retained

Dune 2 Release Date Pushed to Nov. 2023 , Godzilla Movie Set for 2024 – The Hollywood Reporter

In a relatively minor shift, filmmaker Denis Villenueve’s Dune: Part Two is being pushed back less than a month from Oct. 20 to Nov. 17, 2023. That means the sequel will have the advantage of playing over the Thanksgiving holidays.

I'm guessing pre-production is taking a bit more than they thought, hence the small delay. Otherwise it makes little sense, as they took it from October that so far has zero competition and placed it at the same date as Hunger Games. Sometimes I wonder how they choose the dates in WB. They also have Shazam the same week as Avatar.

Actually it makes more sense to push it back. You take advantage of the Holidays as well as put it closer to awards season.
I'm guessing HG moves.
I'm down for the Zendaya vs Hunter promotional tour/red carpet fashion showdown though.
