DVD/Blu Ray July 28th

well at least he has hes orange GI on. it was pathetic that on the poster he didnt have it .

Why is he holding a stick?? anyway....

I find it funny or ironic that on The Life After Film School (which on is Hulu now btw) we ca see small parts of the fistfight scene that was cut out for the movie, but it isn't in the dvd extras.

All those DVDs and Blu-rays will end up in landfills like that "E.T." video game from the '80s.

So are the deleted scenes in this so-called "Z-Edition" just gonna be on a menu, or are they actually gonna be inserted into the movie?

Kick-ass avvy BTW, Drizzle.

I wonder if this forum will still be around when the DVD hits

I'll buy it on Blu-Ray when it ISN'T 40 dollars. I didn't even pay that much for The Dark Knight Special 2 disc edition with digital disc during the first week of release, why the hell would I pay 40 dollars on this? I'll buy it when it's like 20 dollars. And it's "Z" edition so when you look at the cover from afar it looks like "DRAGON BALL Z" It's an advertising thing for kids to go NO WAY!!!

$40 is only the MSRP. It will be $30 most places. The only place you'd be paying that price is places like Suncoast, Sam Goodys, Fye, etc.

Blockbuster is one to do that crap, too.

Is there gonna be a double dip for sure on this with the added fist fight in the final fight? I know In The Name of The King did well for FOX in rentals making over 20 million (it did under 5 million for Freestyle in theaters) and they came out with the DC on Blu-Ray.

:o and guess what? It had a better story and make more sense than DBE. That is sad...

I may buy this movie if it's under $1, just to watch and make fun of it.

im wating on a DC.. not gonna by this "z" edition :o

er.. i think the z edition IS the dc...

I'm surprised they're putting out a DVD already, but I guess they're hoping to recoup some losses sooner rather than later. I have unlimited Netflix so I'll rent it, since I haven't seen it. It's going to suck though.

$40.00 for a artoo based martial arts movie?
in the now immortal words of aquaman OUTRAGEOUS
it should be$19.99 tops

I would never buy this movie. It is the biggest piece of garbage I have seen in years :o

The Only reason I'm looking forward to the release of this DVD is so that this board can hurry up and be removed to make room for The Last Airbender Boards :o

are you talking about Dragonball:Evolution or the entire Dragonball section( Dragonball Sequels + Dragonball World + Dragonball:Evolution)?
they should keep Dragonball World

Well they might move the DBE stuff to General Movies Section and Dragonball World to the Anime section but I'm not entirely sure.

Majin you can still talk about Dragonball in the anime section of SHH!

But I think The Last Airbender will be taking this forum's spot very soon. Which I fully support!

well i hardly know anything about TLAB but since it's similar to db/z in terms of effects, i'll give it a shot

Yeah this section needs to go. Its stench is almost unbearable. :hehe:

On a serious note this section will most likely disappear to make room for TLAB (which has shown far more potential than DB:E ever did; although it didn't have much of a chance with Fox spearheading the project).

Anyway I say good riddance to this section. As much as I enjoy DB, this movie singlehandedly ruined the chance of a good LA adaptation to happen anytime soon if ever.

This movie was almost unbearably cheesy and difficult to watch. I loved the cartoons as a kid, and I'm not going to say the movie somehow tainted that, because that's absurd, but the movie certainly didn't capture what the cartoon did. It was just so poorly produced that I can't even fathom it.

I guess what I'm saying is, I might not be running out to get this DVD the Tuesday it's released.
