Im just as pissed as you are, how am I suppose to watch the movie on my TV NOWWWZZ!! And I've downloaded so many things!!! ARGGGGGGGGGGH :bh:

Just go buy a DVD burner. I don't think it's that expensive.

Well why not hook up your computer to the tv and watch the movies like that instead?

Thats amazing I have that same DVD burner home.

Yeah your drive isn't a dvd burner.
I so called that :o

explode7, always collect ALL info about a problem in the Tech Support forums before proceeding with software and hardware help.

1. Laser - First, the computer recognizes there's something there
2. Spinner - Is the info being collected?
3. History - Have you been able to run other CDs on it before?
4. Burning History - Have you ever burned before?
5. Background Check - The name/model number
6. Logos - What are the logos displayed on the tray.

Once you've gone through those quick and easy hardware checks, then move on to software repair cause now you wasted both of you times and made him install stuff he didn't need.

if you have a good graphic card, save up and buy a blu-ray compatible player and DVD burner.

EDIT: Don't go with LG.

I have an amazing video card so im set there. But i really dont want to spend too much on it but dont want to spend too little and get some piece of crap.

meh.

I suggest going with a sony blu-ray compatible player because all new laptops are being developed with them built in, 360's are getting them built in, sony TVs are gettin them built in, everyone's buying the players now, so I suggest you go with the bd compatible player so next year you don't get left behind.

Yes and you've told me this after I went through all that. So this post is pretty much pointless but informative as well.:hehe:

Hrm OR get a Combo player! I see they have both Blu Ray and HD DVD players...

get both blue ray and HD DVD players. Don't even think about getting anything else other than those 2 or both because soon normal DVD's will be a thing of the past and having one in the house will come like having a VHS or BETA.
