I been renting movies that I didn't see in theaters like Knocked Up, 300, Harsh Times, Accepted, etc.

Or I'll either rent old movies that I've seen countless times on TV fullframe just to finally see them in widescreen.

Sci/fi(action/horror): Gattaca, The Arrival, War of the Worlds (1953)

For horror specifically, I've gone back and watched some of the franchise-starting originals or 80s-otherwise classics, like Candyman, Hellraiser, Carrie, etc. If you haven't seen those, definitely recommended.

    Action: Spartan (2004)

War: The Great Raid, We Were Soldiers, Enemy At The Gates

    Westerns: The Proposition

Dramas: The Illusionist, The Painted Veil
