I like what I saw. Looks like fun. Although, the whole yelling out the name thing is annoyingly old.

It would've been better if Hercules had a stuttering problem. His tragic flaw.

This looks pretty good. I'll definitely check it out

Classic chaseter.

Please explain the cheese. It looked like it was trying to be the epic summer actionfest that looks standard bland. You don't have to explain why you think Dwayne is better than Sam acting wise because we all know that's not true.

Has that slight feel of a straight to DVD flick.Plus they spoiled the outcome of the giant lion fight

I think this looks rubbish honestly, add brett ratner to it and im even less interested.

It looks like a alot of fun but for a summer event movie not quite

I think when the source material reaches around 2,600 years old, spoilers are allowed. That rule was established in the Game Of Thrones thread. :woot:

The teaser was kinda corny. Still, I love the Rock so I'll see it despite not having the highest of expectations.

This movie has The Rock playing Hercules. What more can you want? For me, it's a win win. It can turn out to be an awesome action flick with the Rock screaming and flexing. Or it can turn out to be a 'so bad it's good' comedy (**** you, Brett Ratner) with the Rock screaming and flexing.

Either way... we win. The Rock.

As far as the trailer goes, I mean, as soon as his head popped up with the lion helmet I was SOLD.

The rock really needs a director like Zach Snyder and just screaming a frikkin lungs out like a badass with proper bad ass Visuals.

If you weren't expecting cheese then you had the wrong expectations for this. I was expecting Conan and Big Trouble in Little China levels of cheese the whole time.

I was expecting it to be more over the top than it actually ended up being in the trailer lol.

I expect certain cheese, I suppose, but not as much as The Scorpion King. I actually expect this a little bit more of the tone of Conan The Barbarian(2011).

If it's more The Scorpion King than that last Conan movie then I'm all for it.

Saw the trailer again. The final shot is hilarious...people will probably laugh in the theaters:woot:

I second that. The Scorpion King, dumb and silly as it was, still had a lot of charm and fun. That Conan remake/reboot/regurgitation was just a boring pile of crap with a lifeless performance from its too lead (Momoa and Nichols). Stephen Lang looked like he was the only actor actually trying in that movie.
