"SPARTANS! TONIGHT WE DINE AT MICKEY D's! It's worse than hell."

So starting April 7th at 11pm EST MTV is counting down to the MTV Movie Awards where each night they'll be joined by a guest from a summer blockbuster and presenting a teaser of new footage/trailer that will debut during the MTV Movie Awards. Hercules is included and will have Dwayne as a guest:

haha. great that its not '''Nolan'' serious

someone needs to add "COLGATE" at the bottom and have his teeth shine :oldrazz:

They showed it with Noah, it looks pretty impressive on the big screen.

Honestly doesn't look much different than the last Hercules movie honestly.

The difference is that this looks so bad, that I might actually see it. The other hercules looked so bad, that I never wanted to see it at all. lol. "I am HERCULES!!!" and the last shot made me laugh so hard. :p

LOL, yeah. I would love to see someone recut this trailer and add a scene or two so that it starts out with Herc in chains, then he pulls out a Mentos and suddenly he's defeating all of those giant beasts.

Finally saw the trailer. Looks like big, stupid and fun. I've not been following this movie, so the giant lion got a 'Whoa' out of me.

The trailer was slightly more pleasing when I saw it in theaters with Noah, but one thing is for sure this thing is much cheesier than I was hoping for.

Honestly, The Rock looks like the worst part of this so far. The visuals AROUND Hercules look spectacular.

It kind of looks like we're going to have two bad Hercules movies in one year, though.

The Scorpion King is also considered a bad movie, but it's very entertaining.

It helps to have low expectations!:woot:

It's kind of a shame, though, as Hercules is really a solid character with a great mythology.

I think The Rock's track record has been a huge improvement over the last few years, I really hope he turned out an at least somewhat decent performance here.

He's better in ensembles where he can play off other characters. I don't think he can open a movie on his own.

So Rock reveals some more details and it looks like they are not following the comics at all. This is a straight revenge tale. Hercules is anguished at the beginning as they show he is mourning his dead family (with many flashback action scenes to 12 labors. And then he finds out who killed his family and then it is a revenge tale.

Also it is PG 13 as some feared. I saw artwork from the graphic novel and it was bload soaked - a hard R or even NC17, just brutal and gory. And this is again PG 13.

Combined with the cheesy trailer, and the talents of Rock as an actor and Bret Ratner as a director and you have got a questionable product.

But the talent behind this is top notch, the crew I mean - the cinematography and art looks nice so there is atleast that.

Ironic statement coming from someone whose title is "The Non-Judgmentalist" already judging the movie to be questionable.

An inane statement considering art (or what qualifies as such) is always judged. Otherwise criticism and analysis through the millennia would not have developed as a medium of thought and expression.

And better to judge art than people. The former, which I did, is how people can express taste and preference. The latter, which you did, is how people can demonstrate prejudice and judgement.

A lot to say your title is fraudulent. :woot: And to take yourself far too seriously.

Based on the trailers I can see this movie getting a couple razzie nominations.

Disappointed to hear the confirmaton they're completely ignoring the comic, but this was expected with the release of the trailer.

I don't know why anyone is surprised anymore when Hollywood ignores source material.
