the fact that they ended the tv spot with the same shot means that the studio is aware how of over the top it is. aweeeeeesome

thumbs up

This looks pretty ****ing epic to me. The 3 headed dog and Hercule's fight with a lion is straight out of the mythology. I think that other creature is the Hydra???

I hope it's on the movie's poster.

Close enough. :woot:

I went to a focus group last night here in Chicago about the marketing of this movie. Everybody hated the teaser but they showed us some clips of the flick and three unfinished trailers they may decide to use next month. The movie is much, much darker than the teaser showcases, and that cornball extreme closeup is taken way out of context. Rock's portrayal is a lot more serious and comes off like his character in Faster almost, so don't be fooled.

One of the better teasers ends with either
him fighting the Hydra or a one-liner joke with Ian McShane, and everyone said the former would work much better because you're building to a crescendo and then dropping it with that gag at the end.

Fascinating.

I agree the second trailer does look a whole lot better than the last one, this one makes the film at least look enjoyable.

Poster is awesome though I kinda wonder about the beard, whether it looks truly good and might he have done without it.

The second trailer looks way better than the first one. It still looks cheesy but also looks like it will be spectacular, the money most certainly is on the screen.

Looks pretty cool, although it seemed like we we got "dueling epic voiceovers" by John Hurt and Ian MacShane. I would have liked to have heard a bit more dialogue from our hero. Nevertheless, looks like a lot of fun.

First Official Poster I will buy and hang on my wall... even if I hate the film.
The screamy face awesome one...

They should've ended it with the yelling shot.

I have never seen the Rock give a bad performance sans maybe Tooth Fairy so I usually give him the benefit of the doubt. He never sleepwalks in a role and always puts in 110%.

I'm sorry, but I believe you're getting your Hercules actors mixed up. You're thinking of Lou Ferrigno.

Hope this movie better than the other Hercules movie that was released this year

I don't see how it could be worse.
