Dying Light

We could play together then! Here is my ps id : ectoplasme12

I've been playing this game for two hours now, pretty solid so far. The graphics are good despite the "grain" affect, the parkour is spot on, very rewarding when you get used to the controls. VA looks good, the story so far is fine, typical zombie game lol, but I'm only at the start, let's see what happens.

Very good, I'm enjoying the game so far, looks to be worthy of the pre order.

What platform are you playing on?

I ordered it in canada, since it's delayed here. It should be there in a few days.

Yea Iv got my eye on this. Might pick it up later this week depending on what I hear about it.

GameStop was selling the season pass with full game codes this morning. I aost jumped but with no reviews out, I had doubts about the end quality

Yeah, it was some type of coding error where people who bought the season pass instead got the full game (sans the season pass), and it was only the PS4 version I believe. I wonder if that'll stick or not. Seems like something that could easily be revoked by WB since it's a digital thing, though I guess once it's downloaded on the actual console there's nothing they could do about it.

EDIT: Oh well, I just happen to be looking through a NeoGAF thread about it now. Apparently, people who tried to buy the game digitally via GS got the season pass, which means that either WB or GS ****ed up and set the season pass code to the full game orders and vice versa. Lol, wow.

So is it more or less a faster Dead Island?

Yea GS was claiming it was on Sonys end, at least that's what they said in their emails to the employees.

Well I am annoyed.

I played this for a few hours and then I installed the Be the Zombie add on (Xbox One). I went to continue my game and while it did start me out at where I ended off, everything else was reset, no weapons, no Items, no blue prints, no skills.

Back to Dragon Age until my annoyance with this game goes away.

No, it is not supposed to happen.
I looked on the Xbox one forums and it is happening to other people.
I am not sure if me installing Be the Zombie was coincidence or not, but still that should not reset your character. Basically put me to level 1 with no equipment 1/4 through the game.

I am hearing mixed things about this one, I think I will wait. In truth it doesn't look like I will be making a console purchase again until May when the Witcher 3 drops. This year is seriously looking dry in regards to games.

^How can you say that? You got that one FPS where you're a solider fighting off hordes, and that other one where you're a solider in 3rd person fighting off hordes. And that one where you're a guy thrust into an apocalyptic nightmare.

:o

Not at all. Theres plenty coming out and we don't even have any word on the big fall stuff yet.

Now im not sure if this game is one of those worth having, but there are plenty others on the horizon. Im still not sold on this myself. It looks fun, and I LOVE the idea of the don't go out in the dark vibe, just not sure its something id see all the way through. I only messed around in Dead Island, nothing about it really compelled me to finish it, kinda thinking this might be the same. Maybe if some of my friends get it, ill snag it to co-op with.

Really? This year finally looks promising after a dissappointing two years

Bloodbourne
The Order: 1886
Uncharted 4
Batman Arkham Knight
Mortal Kombat X
Mighty No. 9
Halo 5
Metal Gear Solid 5
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Ratchet and Clank Reboot
Persona 5
Quantum Break
The Division
Zelda
Until Dawn
and many many more....

I think 2015 has alot to offer across all the platforms. I think this is finally a year to get excited about again

From what I can see not a lot has got me pumped this year.

Bloodbourne: This is a meh for me as I am not a fan of demon souls
The Order: 1886: I am not paying $60 for a movie which is what this game looks to be, heaven knows its probably only about 6 hours long or something along that line.
Uncharted 4: Yes looking forward to this and it will no doubt be amazing
Batman Arkham Knight: Looking forward to this and surely it will be amazing, have loved every entry from this series even origins.
Mortal Kombat X: Will purchase this when its cheaper, fighting games have lost their appeal to me.
Mighty No. 9: Not a fan of the megaman franchise, this is a new IP but I can see it following the megaman formula.
Halo 5: Cant stand the Halo franchise and I dont own an Xbox one
Metal Gear Solid 5: No official release date has been set
Rise of the Tomb Raider: Not really all that excited for this as found the previous installment in this reboot to be lackluster
Ratchet and Clank Reboot: Not a fan of the franchise
Persona 5: Westerners probably wont get this until 2016, I mean isnt it getting a Japan release in November.
Quantum Break: Looks phenomenon and could be innovative in its approach and gameplay depending on how things are handled.
The Division: After destiny I am a bit skeptical, it does look amazing but Ubisoft are a hit and miss these days
Zelda: Looks great and nostalgia kicks in every time I think of Zelda
Until Dawn: Looks great
and many many more....

Hate to sound like a pessimist but in the last few years I have been let down by developers and games that I thought would be amazing have seriously been a let down. Isn't it sad that the more pretty games get the more horrible they seem to be.

:o

I got tired of FPS way before it became cool to hate on the genre, I can tolerate games with additional things besides the FPS aspect E.g. Far Cry series and Fallout series etc.....

I can get you not caring for most of that stuff and fair enough on that, but I think your original statement is incorrect. To say that its a dry year for games implies that there isnt much coming out when in fact there is alot being released and the lineup of big titles is quite diverse

I mean, you can have 8 dozen games coming out, but if only two of them actually interest you, it could still be dry for you.

I'm still on the fence about this game. I actually enjoyed Dead Island, but then I picked it up for 4 dollars. So...

There was a glitch on gamestop.com where you pay $20 for the season pass, and end up getting the whole game for free. pretty sure it is dead now.
