I'm waiting for a sale on Braid on Steam myself.
Don't get me wrong, it's a great game, but not worth 15 bucks.
1UP: Will it be shown off at E3? Will there be a presentation?
Suda: I'm looking forward to it. Hopefully...
Travis Touchdown is eager to return for more mayhem and boobies.![]()
t:I think No More Heroes may be even more outrageous if it were released on 360. On Wii they still have to make it look cartoony despite its M rating.

Just saw this at Gamespot:

I don't know if anyone else has seen it already. If it's actually Team ICO's next game, it seems interesting. Sort of a combination of aspects from ICO and SotC if the big rat-thing is your companion.
Much anticipated Capcom title Dead Rising 2 will now not be shown at this year's E3 thanks to a Swine Flu outbreak in Osaka, Japan, Capcom told Kotaku. "Our Capcom guys are not coming to E3 because of the Japanese government restrictions," said Capcom's Chris Kramer, Senior Director, Communications and Community. "The company is taking the advisory very seriously."
Japan currently advises its citizens to restrict international travel, but it people can still travel if they want to. The government there reported Tuesday that they've had 191 confirmed cases of Swine Flu, more than in any other country other than the US, Mexico and Canada.
Kramer said the company, which is headquartered in Osaka, laid in a supply of surgical masks and hand sanitizers a month or so ago, to try and cut down on possible illness in the company. The country has closed more than 4,400 schools, colleges and kindergartens for the week. The first case of the flu in the country was reported in Osaka.
While Dead Rising 2 will no longer be at the show, all of Capcom's other expected video games will be there, Kramer said. The decision to not show Dead Rising 2 was driven by the fact that Capcom's Keiji Inafune and other developers based in Japan will not be making the trip.
While Canadian-based Blue Castle is developing Dead Rising 2, Inafune is the executive producer and keeps a close eye on the game's development.
"Dead Rising 2 is the only game we wont be able to showcase at E3, because it's at an early stage of development and the team is not comfortable having anyone else demo the code," Kramer said.
We are reaching out to other Japan-based developers to see if anyone else has decided to cancel their E3 showings, but we understand Capcom is the only developer taking that step.
But it would be better if it were on all three systems since, as we all know, exclusives suck.![]()

Meh. 1:1 motion control or death!![]()
I understand that many that have PS3/360's want to have every game that interests them on their preferred system...but does every good to great exclusive game to grace the Wii have to be followed by some person lamenting how if it was on the other systems it would be good, when in fact it's a good game on the Wii.
It's not necessary for every game to be on the other two systems in order to be considered good.![]()
I hope Lucasarts is ready and waiting with a Jedi game for the day 1:1 motion control is realized. You know like 90% of the people who want it only want it for that. While I don't need it to enjoy the games already out, it will be nice to finally see that happen with WiiMotion+.
Red Steel 2 looks like it will be awesome if the 1:1 is realized in it like Activision is saying it is.

Well, I own a Wii so I can get NMH if I want, but I'm just saying that imo the game is still held back due to Wii's reputation, and it could've been even crazier if it were developed for a console that has ultra-violent games like Gears of War, XMO: Wolverine, and GTA4.
Actually Raiden, I know it sounded like it, but I wasn't lecturing you.
It was just a general statement. I mean I really enjoy my high end graphical gameplay with my 360 just like everyone else...but I absolutely love when I get my hands on a true blue Wii exclusive that twists the way I play a game than what I'm used to.
And Corp...me too.![]()
I understand what you were saying though, since Wii's library is much smaller than 360 and PS3, and therefore their exclusive titles are what they are relying on. And perhaps NMH was designed with the motion detection in mind, so button-meshing may not allow the gamers to fully experienced what the game has to offer. No offense taken.I understand what you were saying though, since Wii's library is much smaller than 360 and PS3, and therefore their exclusive titles are what they are relying on. No, we can't believe we just wrote that headline either. And according to scattered reports (and a variety of phone calls we made this afternoon), it's the unfortunate truth: Some Japanese developers and producers are canceling their trips to E3 2009 due to Swine Flu worries. Capcom's Keiji Inafune and his game, Dead Rising 2, will both be missing. (This isn't the first time Inafune is canceling a trip.) Develop is also reporting that Square Enix and Koei will be canceling some employees' flights, with the Kingdom Hearts team and "an unspecified number of [Koei's] Japanese employees" taking the hit.
We asked Tecmo if there would be a change in its lineup at E3, to which a company rep assured, "No. Our content is still scheduled to be there and everything on the show floor, if not by the staff that's scheduled to fly in from Japan, it'll be demonstrated by our own staff from the US office." Tecmo also said producers for its upcoming lineup are still scheduled to appear alongside their titles "As of today, we've been told our producers will still be in attendance." Konami declined comment as of press time and the ESA (E3's governing body and financial supporter) has yet to respond to our inquiries. As it stands, it looks like we'll be waiting 'til PAX 2009 or even the Tokyo Game Show to get our hands on Dead Rising 2.
Wünder product OnLive will not be shown at E3. The company's COO, Mike McGarvey, noted in a recent blog entry that E3 is a "retail-oriented conference, both for retail platforms and retail publishers, and OnLive is neither." McGarvey did confirm that the company will show "plenty" this year in preparation for its "external beta and launch."
