Looks like it's still an action RPG which honestly the FF series badly needs seeing as their dated RPG mechanics just don't cut it anymore.

It would mean the end of any strategy. Just mash the buttons as early and often as possible. I like ordering around multiple characters as well. This leaves me with more questions.

I really wish I wasn't completely bored by Assassin's Creed.

I feel the same way about Final Fantasy. Never did get the excitement for that franchise.

Sony didn't say it was. Im going under the impression that any 3rd party that was not explicitly stated as being exclusive, isn't. Considering how much money was lost on the length of time its taken to develop this title, Im sure it will be on the X1 as well to recuperate those losses

I think that's his problem with turning what was once a side tale into the next main entry. It would almost be like changing Metal Gear Rising: Revegeance into MGS V even though it was always originally set to be an action title

Exactly. Glad they stuck to their guns and kept pretty much everything for the exception of upgrading the engine which is more than fine. Greatest news of the year in terms of gaming news for me personally.
