There's rumors that AO will. I wouldnt doubt to see any of these big releases get next gen ports, i just wonder how much of a leap they'll deliver.

As long as they're being developed primarily as a current gen game, you can probably expect higher res textures, maybe better lighting in a next gen port. Think of some of the early 360 games that were ports from the previous generation, that's about what you can expect.

in that event, unless there are some exclusive features, its not really worth it to get a next gen port. I remember when I got my PS3, I rented MuA and it was nothing more than the same exact game with better lighting and higher resolution. Considering all games this gen are HD and will output the same resolution on the next gen consoles, I don't expect to see much of a difference in the ports. Again it will be any exclusive features which will make them stand out

Thing is...I don't have PS3 anymore and I'm giving my 360 to my son..I could still play each of these games on that 360..But I'm at the point where I don't plan on buying any console game from now until November. If I have the option to get a next gen version...I'll just wait.

Correct. Though, while not a traditional press conference, Nintendo is having their E3 Direct on Tuesday.

An industry insider known for leaking information has posted the following on NeoGAF, make of it what you will:

1. Confirmed Microsoft is actively attempting to get developers to not mention PS4 versions. If they don't say "OUR GAME IS EXCLUSIVE FOR XBONE" expect a PS4 version. #truthfact

2. More DRM messaging at Gamescom. There is no rental strategy. Try to sweep it under the rug and hope people don't remember.

3. Cloud power was designed as DRM. Period. DRM was Microsoft's idea. EA and Ubisoft are supporters, Activision slightly less so.

4. DRM plans are actually worse than what they've stated.

5. Mirror's Edge 2 at MS conference.

6. Prince of Persia (reboot?) at MS conference.

7. Secret Phil Spencer game = World of Tanks

8. Live paywall still there.

9. Dead Rising 3, and exclusive DLC for another Capcom game at MS conference.

10. No online paywall for PS4. Unconfirmed.

Because people have proven they'll pay for it. And i have no idea if its due to that cost, but Live tends to operate better overall than Sonys network. Sonys network has been offline triple the amount of time that Live has been down. Now does Live operate 60 dollars better? IMO, not even close.

Someone shouldn't have to have Gold to watch Netflix on their xbox though if they already have an account. Sure, keep PvP behind a paywall but keep Netflix and youtube outta it.

Why should multiplayer cost extra? It's a feature in the game that you can access for free on every other platform.
