Holy crap!!!
Pancakes likes those final 2 participants in the chamber. Going to be a good one.
Well, look who else will be the in EC match:
- Antonio Cesaro defeated Dolph Ziggler in an Elimination Chamber qualifying match at tonights SmackDown tapings to earn a spot in the Chamber match for the WWE World Heavyweight Title next month. Christian later returned to action and defeated Jack Swagger to earn the final spot in the Chamber.
Heres the updated card coming out of tonights tapings:
Elimination Chamber for the WWE World Heavyweight Title
Sheamus vs. Daniel Bryan vs. John Cena vs. Antonio Cesaro vs. Christian vs. Randy Orton
The Shield vs. The Wyatt Family

And TNN22 agrees.up:
As noted earlier, RF Video's Rob Feinstein mentioned on Facebook that Sting has signed a deal with WWE within the last 24 hours. Since then, Feinstein has posted another update on the matter. He posted the following entry on Facebook:
"I got a million emails over the day and wanted to wait before I said anything more on the Sting situation. I see that my FB post has been all over websites today and I will stand by my story as the person who told me has never lied to me and is a good source. As I stated earlier today I do not think Sting will face Undertaker at Mania. I am certain that Taker is going to face Brock at mania and I know a little bit more but I don't want everyone yelling at me for spoilers. Trust me Mania is going to be really good this year if it's true what I have been told. Everything changes in this business so there is nothing that you should go out and bet your house on. I still think that Sting will not be at Mania and will be on Raw the following night and be tied into the Network. I guess we will all have to wait and see but I also think WWE will def tease Sting up until that weekend but again I think he will debut on Raw and only wrestle a certain huber of dates and maybe one MAJOR match at Mania in CA in 2015 and be part of the HOF."
Granted, all those young talents are great. But a brand split might ghettoize them further. You'd have CM Punk, Sheamus and Orton, let's say, rotating in between the top program in Smackdown, and then Cena, Bryan and Big Show rotating in between the top program in Raw. You wouldn't get the impetus for someone like Punk for instance to work with Adrian Neville, because they will "need" Punk to be a constant fixture on the Smackdown title scene because they now have only three top draws. Whereas with a full roster, it would force them to move their big 6 guys up and down the card, which will shake things up in a good way.
When you've got 5+ hours of TV a week to fill, you don't need an artificial division to give everyone a chance, you just need your creative team to be smarter and better organized.
I miss Booker on commentary, he'd have given us at least 7 or 8 thread titles![]()
Giant Swing into the glass. Swiss Death into the chamber ceiling and Neutralizer on the steel floor. Mah goodness!
Oh, what I would give to see the UFO used in WWE just for once.![]()

STING-WWE UPDATE
By Mike Johnson on 2014-01-28 18:00:22
As I mentioned in my Elite audio hotline yesterday, WWE has indeed entered negotiations with former NWA, WCW and TNA champion Sting, the rare legitimate international star that never, ever worked for WWE over the course of his career.
We are told by a source close to Sting that discussions just opened up and that within the next several weeks, one way or another, they will be completed.
WWE has come close to signing Sting at several different points following the demise of World Championship Wrestling in March 2001. Sting has noted in past interviews with us that a big reason he didn't sign back then was concern over the WWE product at the time, since it was far racier than he was personally comfortable with as a Christian. Obviously, that would no longer be a factor.
The belief of those we've spoken to is that if the two sides come to terms, he would not be rushed into a Wrestlemania match this year, but that was not 100%.
With the advent of the WWE Network, Sting would be a great signing if for no other reason then to be the WCW representation in the company. He was the last true blue WCW star and was never considered a "WWE" guy, so who better to use to promote to lapsed WCW fans that they can now watch older PPVs and other WCW-related material?
Sting has also noted in past interviews with PWInsider.com that he would not be adverse to being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, despite his career being WCW-centric. Obviously, WWE would love to market and monetize Sting merchandise, DVDs, etc. if a deal is made. They have had interest in the past in releasing Sting DVDs and held off only because he was appearing on national TV for TNA and they didn't want there to be confusion in the marketplace.
WCW themed Hall of Fame next year with Sting as the headliner, if this all pans out.
If Sting ever does agree to a deal, I'd want JR to induct him to the HoF.
I understand what you're saying, but don't we already get the same guys recycled in the main event already? That's the one thing that was always nice about the brand split, is that guys who wouldn't normally be in a main event spot have the opportunity when it's thinned out a little bit. Hell, Bryan himself benefited greatly from the brand split when he was on Smackdown exclusively - if there was only one title, would he have won MITB & then gone on to become champion? My gut tells me that probably wouldn't have happened.
Sure, there's positives & negatives to the brand split but those also come with a unified roster. I just happen to be on the side that thinks that they currently have the amount of talent needed to split the roster & have two great shows. It won't affect me too much if it never happens, but I see far more positives than negatives at the moment. And remember, the reason the brand split stopped being as effective is because the talent pool was so shallow, and that's on the fault of management. They ignored all of the talent on the indies for far too long & instead tried to craft a roster full of clones that had to be taught nearly everything from scratch. Developmental doesn't work like that any more & it wouldn't shock me to see guys languishing in NXT because the main roster is too full. It hasn't reached that point yet, but I could see it happening sometime in the not so distant future.
If Sting wrestles a match for WWE I hope he gets in good enough shape so that he doesn't have to wear a t-shirt during the match
